This. The Tali lovers have their own thread and share their own ideas. It's none of my business.

Agreed, let them have their fun.  No one wants to be as down in the dumps as the Liara fans.  I do feel bad for the Ash/Kaidan fans though, they are in the same boat as us.  Doesn't mean we should hate on the Tali fans though. :)

I support you and the Ash/Kaidan fans.

Ash is my second favorite romance.

A toast to ME1 romance! I wish they had a little mug with beer emoticon.

There's something creepy about the way people who DON'T like Tali salivate at the chance to purposefully get her killed in the suicide mission. It is possible to be indifferent folks.

I always save Tali, she is like a little sister. I always have her escort the crew just to make sure nothing bad happens. ^_^

I don't understand how anyone can let a chracter die on purpose. I have to make sure every character lives, even if I don't like them. To think that I failed, that i let the team down, that it was MY fault; thats just depressing.

We came to kick ass and take names, not die like a bunch of wimps.

I see things the same way bro, even characters like Loghain and Garl Vinland/Astraea I have a hard time killing.  I wish ME2 had a sympathetic boss, one thing it was missing.

TIM? Matin Sheen made him a lot more...rational that one would think.  Image IPB Martin Sheen Image IPB

yeah I think my answers were too renegade. I never picked the ''I want you to need me'' option, I just thought 'woah hang on a minute now'. But yes I vow to one day complete a playthrough with Jacob as another notch on femshep's belt. :)

I'll go on record as having had no problem killing Loghain.  I thought it would have been more fitting to let Alistar do it, but I just couldn't let that pass me by.

I also wouldn't be real torn up if most of ME2 squad died, but I wouldn't go out of my way to kill them.  Wouldn't go out of my way to save them either, but wouldn't kill them.

Yeah. The first dialogue femshep comes on WAY too strong. The next few however she;s back to normal, somewhat. I think she just desires dark chcolate too much Image IPB

You know, my hat off to Bioware on the way they handled TIM. I thought he was going to be a Reaper pawn from the start.  But he is more of a Tywin Lannister (A Song of Ice and Fire), someone who I can see things from their side of the table but their actions are such that I wouldn't feel moved by having to end their existence.

Sorry for derailing the topic further, the problem with Loghain is that you can see that he regrets his actions and wouldn't do it again if he had the choice.  He saw an opprotunity and took it without thinking things through and it has haunted him since.

Yes...although id have a hard time killing him, since he is voiced by and looks like Martin Sheen Image IPB I actually liked his character although the end threw me for a loop.

Well thanks. I've been cultivating my jib meticulously for years now.

I, too, would xenophile all over Tali, scientifically speaking.

I know it's a little strange to pay such close attention to a thread on a forum, but come on, at this point that thing might as well be some kind of living being.

Oh crap! They're GROWING A REAPER ON THE BIOWARE FORUMS!!!

you sir just made my day a little brighter, that comment made me fall out of my chair laughing. Well now we know where reapers come from (no offence).

You will be happy to know there is much waffle talk going on in the Kaiden thread. *sagenod*

This.
Do we really need 5-7 anti-Tail threads a day? You guys are getting just as bad as the Tali lovers, if not worst.

I have to agree. I am a Tali fan, though I have to admit the Tali thread is sometimes a little odd. Any time I have tried to post in there it is just lost in among the waves of an ocean of Tali spam. It's like if you don't post in there five times a day you will not be recognized.

I can understand fans getting carried away, they are passionate about a charcater they like. But to me it is far more sad to waste so much energy hating a fictional character or fans thereof.

Oh, btw, I was supposed to pass on a message.

We are the Taliborg. You will be assimilated. :P

How do you get to know people in a thread that moves that fast? (well, the newer people anyways)

I don't see why the Tali fan thread gets so much heat. Granted, the only other fan thread I read extensively is the Miranda one (because Tali and Miranda are both awesome) but it's basically the same stuff. Nerds gushing about a fictional character they like.

People, we all are folk who enjoy playing a game with spaceships and aliens a ton of ridiculous stuff in it.

lols. I could never do that. I like getting to know people on a slow and close basis. Image IPB

Which is why the Kaiden thread suits me perfectly. Also, our plan when we hit 300 is to photoshop him into the 300 spartans.  Image IPB

I once spent an hour starring into her visor ingame, does that make me creepy?

I hope not, once in Freelancer I spent a week carefully examining pieces of debris to get a better picture of what the ships looked like inside. I just like to examine things in detail.

Play StarLancer, it's the prequel and includes a lot of photo-real cutscenes inside that universe's ships.

I tend to prefer slower threads myself. Though as a guy I don't really frequent the Kaiden thread much, poor bugger died on Virmire. I do think of him when I pass by the area he used to frequent on the old Normandy, which is where the cook is now if I am right. He was a brave character.

lol @ the spartans.

I don’t know. I don’t really understand them a lot. They’re kind of like the Hare Krishna people to me.

I quite like Tali but the thread is really intense and hard for me to keep up with. Sometimes I go in and they’re talking about perfectly interesting stuff I’d like to participate in.

Then sometimes I pop in and it’s stuff that… I really would just like to back out of…

I don't visit the Tali thread much either, it can get a touch weird in there, at least to me, and it moves way too fast. Anything new you try to add gets washed away right quick.

I really don't get the haters at all though.

Nice to meet you too.
