There is just something creepy about the Taliband

If there was a small fan group, i might join it. As it stands right now, its entirely too large for me to deal with comfortably. Getting to know people > numbers.

Nice to meet you Tali follower!
I don't visit the Tali thread much either, it can get a touch weird in there, at least to me, and it moves way too fast. Anything new you try to add gets washed away right quick.
I really don't get the haters at all though.
Nice to meet you too.
Yeah I know what you mean. Sometimes there is some very good discussion going on about the character then you check back an hour later and there is some kind of hinkey internet sort of cosplay going on. But if that's something they enjoy, whatevs, it is not hurting anyone. The haters are the ones that really bother me.

Oh yeah there is no way to get to know anyone in there unless you were there from the start, or unless you post every ten minutes.
Personally, I would advocate more content for everyone. More Miranda, more Tali, more Kaiden, more Ash, more whoever. More content = more fun, imo. The more fun people have the more they will recommend it to others, thus more copies of the game are bought. That means more Mass Effect down the road for everyone. To me it is more logical to support a platform of more content for all than any platform of hate.
I'd also like to see more "friend" content. Like Jack, imo, could use a good solid friend who wants nothing from her other than frienship. Why not make that an option? There are a lot of things they could do.

I dont think we're going to get any more companion content til ME3 unfortunately, especially in the way of romances...although if anyone could use more fleshing out, it would be Jacob.

Jacob was okay as a friend to male Shep, especially if you explored all the sidebar conversation options. I think if anything he seemed so normal because he is just that, a normal Joe so to speak. Was in the alliance, then moved to Cerberus, did some special ops at some point. But compared to the like of Jack and Mordin and Thane and Samara he couldn't help but to pale in comparison. I always thought of him as one of the few stabalizing influences aboard the ship.

Yeah. I only say that ebcause it seems the majority think he;s boring. Romancing him however, he turns into a chocolate love machine with a sweet center

Exactly. Everyone is a little weird in their own way, even if they have become very good at not showing it. Which is why I fully support the right for the tali fan club to have their tali thread. I am a Tali fan too, it is just that sometimes, at least to me, the thread gets a little creepy. Creepy is a whole different thing.

I only play a male Shep so I haven't tried romancing him, but I don't know what you'd do without him there. Jack and Miranda want to kill each other, Tali and Legion aren't much better at first. God help me if Grunt found out Mordin had a cure for the genophage on board. It's a small miracle this crazy crew killed the collectors and made it out in relatively one piece. Take away Jacob and add someone else Jack or Legion or SOMEONE hates and boom...we'd never make it.

Yeah. So many combustible combonaitons, and yet Shepard's strong perosnality keeps them all in line. Very admirable! He is also the only one, outside of Garrus and Tali, that when first meeting you, cares about you as a person, and not the hero of the Citadel (which is what initialy drew me in).
mordin as the comic relief is also great. I died laughing when he started singing GIlbert and Sulivan!

Yeah Mordin's a gem. I really hope he carries over into ME 3 as a squad mate. I have a feeling we will need his brains to finish the reapers, and his humor along the way will certainlly help. His little "talk" with you when the romance plot reaches a certain point is priceless.
