the character creator system... first off it takes forever to make a character that looks good..

second u can only work on their face...

3rd..the part that ticks me off the most..is when u make your character and dont like somthin about him u cant correct it...u cant get rid of tatoo or fix his nose.....on top of that i HATE the skin colors...not of them are simple white...your character will either be yellow, literally black....and if u want your character to be white..your choices are basicly..a) make him so white he looks like a zombie..or B) make him white to the point that he looks femename..i wish the character would change throughout like in fable.

overall graet game but i have wasted over 4 hours trying to make a good character and so far they iethier look awfull or mediocre...

Eh...wat?

Never had problems with it. Just took my sweet time to make my character look as good as I can and everything was fine. No problems with skin colors either.

I love DA, but there is one part that greatly iritates me. The party members have an all-too-common habit of running in front of the cursor at the moment you click on something, which changes your action to initiating a conversation with them.

I think with any character customization your always going to get annoyed at something while your ingame. I think RPGs are really a test of tollerance toward you the gamer. Wether your willing to look past a small thing on the character's face and play the game.

Though at least this isn't like Mass Effect 1 or 2. Which you have to properly see in game in order to judge whether your character face looks good, and if you **** up you have to spend another 10 minutes watching the opening cut scene. With Dragon Age the game simply plants you in the game and allows you to skip all the cutscenes. Letting you see your player face in game and judge whether it looks any good.

haha Alistair always does that to me, he always wants to talk. :P

If you have the PC version, you can use the toolset to adjust your head. I usually go in and add a file early in the game now to replace my head, so later in the game when the file is too big to open anymore, all I have to do is reuse the save file name to change it :)  Some of my characters have had 3 different looks minimum :D

You are correct though, on PS3 ( i also have that though i don't play it anymore usually) or XBOX360 you are kind of screwed.
