So how good is XFX with their RMA service?

So I came home after a 10 day trip to LA/Disneyland with the family, hellbent on playing some ME2 only to hit the power button and get a no video signal.  I troubleshooted on my end, suspected it was a vid card issue and dropped it off at the local repair shop to confirm.  Which they did, the card was toast.  What's perplexing is that the computer wasn't even turned on during the time I was gone and was showing no signs of problems when I'd left and I had been putting the computer through some marathon ME2 gaming sessions.

So besides moping and hoping to get a little sympathy I was wondering if anyone here had any experiance with the RMA proccess of XFX the makers of my 8800GT?  The card is 20 months old or so but I never overclocked it or really stressed it, heck I'm evening sending it to them in the original box where I had all spare parts and papers except for the game DVD and doorknob hanger they give you.  Anyone want to share there experiance or speculate on my odds of getting a replacement card?
