I truly wonder how much of his humanity will Shepard have sacrifice or lose to defeat the Reapers?

I look back remebering when playing mass effect 1 as paragon Shepard thinking that I could stop the Reaper invasion without sacrificing his humainty or stooping to Saren level. After playing mass effect 2 with dlc stories including the arrival dlc I realise I was wrong. I sacrificed thousands of soldiers to defend the Council and to defeat ONE reaper, I had to work with Cerberus a known Terriost hated by both the Alliance and Council, caused a jailbreak in a space prison that hold most of the worst criminals in the galaxy and other things to recruit the most dangerous people in the galxay. Either Destorying the Collecto's base that hold technology that could defeat the Reapers because of personal sense of perserving my humanity over the millions of lives that would be killed when Reapers come, or Giving this dangerous Technology that used human lives to create a human reaper over to a self center egostical human supermacist man would sacrifice more lives to this technology to serve his own goals. Shepard killed a non rogue spectre that told shepard he or she was just as bad the asrai spectre who blow up an entire building which was true ; then destorying the alpha relay killing at least 300,000 innocent bartarian lives just to delay the invetible return of the Reapers for who knows how long. Shepard did all these things and possible more from doing what we told Saren that Shepard could stop them from coming, but we were wrong. In way a Saren was right we failed in stopping the Reaper from coming, but now Shepard need to find a way to defeat them maybe at any cost.

What if it turns out Saren was right all along? What a great plot twist.
