Anyone else find Morinth way too creepy to ever want to get as a squady after their first time?

Hmm. I actually thought she was pretty interesting. Really intriguing femme fatale character. The only reason I never accepted her as a squadmate was because I would be loathe to kill Samara.

I love her. I love all the squadmates She's a really cool character.

Morinth is cool, but not as cool as Samara. Easy choice there.

I endured watching Morinth kill Samara simply to acquire her Dominate skill and then reloaded and proceeded to kill her as normal. I've yet to use Dominate, but I imagine it'd be an awesome skill to have on an Engineer or Infiltrator. They'd have AI Hack AND Dominate. Wouldn't ever have to fight. Just let everyone else do the fighting for you.

Morinth does seem like an interesting character, but in a choice between a Justicar who has sworn an oath to follow Shepard and a person addicted to killing...OK, as a player I know Morinth won't proceed to mind-rape and kill half your crew, but from a roleplaying perspective there just doesn't seem to be any reasonable reason to choose her over Samara.

Morinth presents a unique experience for those who have already beaten the game and wish to explore the dynamic character interaction system of mass effect 2. While I like the ability to dramatically shift the relationship between Shepard and his pet asari, I was disappointed at the relationship between Shepard and Morinth. I'd also like to see Shepard survive Morinth's sexual assault. the look on her face would be priceless!

Shepard's not a God, she's only human.

Ardat Yakshi have plagued Asari for generations. I doubt some little human'd survive an encounter with one.

You forget that Shepard was cybernetically reconstructed at the beginning of the game. There is really no way to know what level of augmentation his central nervous system underwent during the Lazarus Project.

Have a hallix or two and she's not so creepy.  Then again, everyone else on the Normandy will start freaking you out and you'll probably just let yourself out of the airlock for some fresh air.

Well my main renegade Shepard is "Evil" so the choice was pretty obvious. Samara even says herself, that once her service is up, she might come after you if your unjust and thats definitely what my renegade Shepard is.

Morinth tries to seduce you, but i can resist her charms so she is not really a threat to me. Although she will probably continue her killing spree eventually, but again im evil, so i don't care.

Well, I find the idea of having such a scary character on my squad to be useful. Too bad she doesn't get "WTF" responses from other asari the way Legion gets them from quarians that see him. Bioware could have at least scripted a "Hey You! I know you... your that Ardat Yakshi! Everyone, that asari... shes a freak! Let's get out of here!" into the game. There could at least have been some more intense discrimination against Morinth than there was. For example, if you bring her into Liara T'Soni's office on Ilium, I'll bet Liara ought to know that Morinth is an Ardat-Yakshi, Bioware could have at least had Liara become shocked and outraged the way Kaidan did when he learned Shepard was working for Cerberus... if Bioware wanted to be realistic, Liara T'Soni ought to have kicked you out of her office if you brought Morinth in there.

You do know that everybody except Shepard and Morinth thinks that she is Samara right?

Morinth creeps me the hell out. I think it's the grin - it seems to me like her mouth is too big for her head, and I'd swear the teeth look filed. I get Lovecraftian vibes just looking at her.

The problem with Mo is her voice doesn't work. The Samara/Wynne wise, mystic voice works even though it is a video game / movie cliche. But Mo's voice doesn't seem right for a centuries old, Lilith, Succubus, soul vampire type chick.

Creepy, yes. But she was a good squad member for me. Hacking organics is as much fun as hacking mechs/Geth.

I like Morinth, and not just because Natalia Cigliuti does a great job of wrapping a black widow with cotton candy with her voice. She's as resigned and broken as her mother,Morinth is unable to feel affection without lust and death. She's a monster and the saddest part is she knows it and she knows she can't do anything about it.

I actually thinks she truly wants Shepard to prove her curse wrong.



Too bad we have too few lines with actual Morinth throughout the game. And by lines I don't mean hallex.

who doesn't want the date raping murderous type as a squadmate plus she has a limitless rerun of her love interest scene because you can just keep reloading. I would like to have that green Asari that Axx has as his picture tho shes badass.
