Doing the Suicide mission and for kicks I sent Tali through the vents and had Zaeed as team 2 leader. I took Garrus and Miranda with me, all squad members are loyal.
Tali doesn't make it.
Took a rocket to the face... you don't get up from that.

Going to go back and see if Garrus is Team 2 leader if Tali will make it through. Perhaps she never will and Legion is the best option.

Anyone gotten Tali through the tunnels ok?

Zaeed is a fail leader, he's the problem. Tali can do the vents just fine. Miranda, Garrus or ... Jacob, I think, are leaders.

Tali is the best person for the tunnels. Legion is almost as good.

The reason she died is because of poor fire team leader choice. Garrus is (in my opinion) the best person for the Fire Team choice in that segment. People will work well with him that don't like Cerberus. (i.e. Jack)

Zaeed is the worst person for any leadership role because if you ever listen to his tales he's usually the only one of his team to survive. Also: his own people shot him in the head. He doesn't inspire loyalty.

Yeah, vent person only survives if they are tali or legion and only if they are loyal AND the team 2 guy is Miranda Jacob or Garrus  and they are loyal

Right. That, and the team 2 guy has to be good for the job. Miranda, Jacob, and Garrus are the best choices.

Huh, I wondered about Zaeed... guess I should have read past "Former Mercenary leader..."

He's a pretty cool guy, but I haven't listened to his stories since my first playthrough. This is my Insanity playthrough though and I want everyone to live.

i sent both Tali and Legion through the vent successfully with Garrus as the leader. No issues.
