Hi,

Not sure if this has been discussed but since i can't find the search option on this forum i will start a new thread.

Ok finished the game and decided to give the collector base to Cerberus as i am hoping in ME3 i will have cool tech and weapons but everyone i speak to on Normandy is not happy about it even Miranda who is Cerberus agent, why is that ?

Also i'm going round buying all the weapon upgrades i could not buy but i am not able to acces the upgrade terminal in Normandy, all options are Gray accept Power retrain, why is that.

It's better to save that tech, i'm sure they have a nice device to control the mass relays and stuff like that. Imho you can destroy it whenever you want but if you do it at the end of ME2 you lost everything, but if you save it you can always destroy it later if something goes wrong

Because you're giving tech that no one in the galaxy has access too, to the most xenophobic, self-driven, and downright nasty group of people currently in existence? It's like the equivalent of giving an active nuclear missile launch button to a sadistic twelve year old. You might warn him not to push it and to only use it when a certain threat presents itself, but what's going to really stop him from doing whatever the hell he wants with it? The base turns humans into a milkshakes. As miranda said keeping the base would seem like betryal to the people who got melted and to the family of the lost ones. I will find alternatives to beat the reapers. Also do you actually trust TIM?

TIM reasons for preserving the base are exactly the same as the crap that was flowing through Sarens brain when he discovered Sovereign
