I see. Much like the 'post an image on the forum' quest.

What quest is this? I've not seen a quest where "you had to swim to finish." After 4 playthroughs, what did I miss?

If you go here, you'll notice he's obviously using mods or the toolset: social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/66/index/1109684/

.....Um ok,not a very funny joke but it did make me go what? I dont remember any swimming in DA. In fact Im quite sure it is impossible because of the magical force field around all bodies of water. They put the barrier there to hide things, like cookies. But with the power of modding you can go anywhere! So how were the cookies?

Well you do have to go through a pool of water to get to the werewolf lair. I wonder how you manage that in juggernaut armour?

No, see, the Chantry decided water was evil after a child drowned in a lake. So they got some mages to put a magical barrier around any water that is deeper than your ankles.

Hence the smell in the Chantry.

That was my question as well. My PC is wearing warden commander armor (and she looks smashing in it, btw), Alistair is wearing the Blood armor, Sten is wearing medium armor, and Zevran is wearing leather armor. Everyone but Zevran (maybe) would drop like a rock. Perhaps that's what it is, your PC doesn't have to swim per se, just get to the bottom and walk a bit. It would make the most sense, I guess.

Somebody would strip down and swim around to scout the way before anyone jumps in in plate armor. That would have been a good cut scene!

well it depends on what your idea of swimming would be. because i am in the water but it was just a bad joke i guess about the quest. that was just the bait , i thought it was funny at the time , but honestly its easy to get into the water on most maps i even found a new lake. And even a few maps you only have to walk through the mesh. and there are other ways all without the use of tool set or any modding .i can even save deveth and jory skip the joining and continue playing them. and i can only say for a pc (others not tried) one is easy to explain. denerim after warping there walk as far as you can foward without turning left sharply where youtalk to a wife with the condolances area, in the right corner where the buildings meet. walk into the corner.

edit and that screenie was in lothering and is really easy to get in water there.  theres a threadthat starts with:   Who else was bummed about the secret roon and in that thread tells you how only pc
