HOWEVER, use this.

find a video of Grunt or whomever you want, put a link in there, and MP3Ify it.

I did it  with a few things.

I'd also prefer Legion's 'Overclocking Kinetic Barriers' in place of the annoying message I have currently to show my antivirus software is updating, and unlike 'Executing Sudo command' it should be an easy enough capture for anyone who has the PC version.



You just need to go to a quiet location with Legion and spam his Geth Shield Boost until he says it.

Hmmm... unless your laptop/desktop has bluetooth it seems your screwed. Unless you know someone who can upload it to their phone and transfer it to you.

I would love to have Kelly as my txt message tone but my phone only allows midi tones for txt messages...The Kelly 'commander' tone is mp3 and thus I cant select it.

Is it possible to get a midi version of it?

How to make free ringtones for iTunes from mp3s (dutch) No jailbreak needed.
Summary : 
Turn edit-preferences-import settings for itunes to AAC (itunes plus)
Drag mp3 into itunes
Find files in music
convert to AAC (right click convert to AAC)
in windows explorer copy the files to your desktop
delete imported files in music
rename desktop files from .m4a to .m4r
Drag files into ringtones folder
et voila.

My me1 credit music ringtone A
My me1 credit music ringtone B

me2 launch trailer music ringtone A (choir)
me2 launch trailer music ringtone A (no choir)

Because I'm just awesome like that I made a ringtone pack of all ringtones in this thread so far (including mine), already converted to m4r.

Disclaimer : Allright, apparently actually getting the iphone to recognize the ringtone has become a ****load harder since 1.1.2. I only manage to get it to accept 1 custom ringtone at a time.
Regarding jailbreak. SMS ringtones can not be added without it. *cries*
Time to abandone Micro*cough*Apple and switch to Android maybe...
Nevertheless, after messing for 1 hour I got my Heart of Courage ringtone to work.

I'm kind of a noob with editing music files, how do I change these files to MP3?
The M4 part II ringtones are awesome by the way.

They're still AAC files really. So if you change the extension from .m4r to.m4a it's a regular AAC file again.
Then you can use any free converter to change it back from AAC to mp3.
I'm glad you like them  The m4 part II is the me1credit music in case anyone is wondering, I've been using them for years now

The files are in .ogg format. I recommend using Winamp for listening(other players cut the audio near the end).

Thanks. I can convert any good ones I find (easily) to WAV for PC sound effects and (slightly more difficultly but still doable) to MP3, but sadly have no method of uploading.



Incidently, do you have a copy of the image you're using as an avatar in higher res?

Unfortunately, I don't think you can make MIDI files with voice, etc. MIDI only supports the various electronic beeps, not synthesized voices. You must have an old phone, most will accept WAV now...

Tone This

You pick the audio file you want, and they will send it to you in a text message, and then you can make it a ringtone. You can even get songs using this, and choose where it starts and stops. It's good for when you don't have any other options.

WAV might work...I havnt got any .wav files to test it out. Is there a wav version of the kelly one? All I know is that my phone wont accept mp3 for text tone (does for ringtone though)
