No matter who I play, there is always certain actions I will do:

Paragon:
Stop the kid from signing up in Omega
Tell the Volus and the C-Sec officer they are asses with the Quarian
Hug Tali
Warning shot on Thane's son
Protect Sidonis (only to hear the full story, still might let him get shot at the end)
Miranda shooting Niket (even my Renegade realises she really doesn't want to do this and he does not need her with a guilty conscious)
Push the "Biotic God" Volus

Renegade:
All interrupts except punching that reporter with the stupidly long name (some Sheps would, just saying all others are always done)
Killing the Heretics (even my Paragon Shep doesn't like the idea of brainwashing. They chose their sides, it is war. He is not happy about blowing them up either. But that is what you do in war. Mass Brainwashing is.. just... evil)
Make the Batarian drink his own poison.
Citadel Discounts (check later as to why...)
Headbutt annoying Krogans (but then I said I did every Renegade interrupts I can)

Paragons I never do:
Stop Garrus from shooting Fade, that ****** deserved death.
Brainwash the Geth (obviously since I always blow the Heretics; though I have set one Shepard aside to do this just so I can see it in ME3. Only that one)
Citadel Discounts... "I am Commander Shepard, and this is my favourite store in the Citadel" huh... never again.

Renegades I never do:
Make the Elcor shut down the Quarian. Even my most evil Shepard hates Elcors over a Quarian.

Overall I never let Tali get Exiled or have her father convicted. I always Charm/Intimidate the judges or rally the crowd.

So what actions seem to be ones you will always do no matter what your Shepard is?

I usually do all the renegade options. But I always hug Tali and the women in Omega who lost her child, they're about the only sad moments in the game.

Have you ever actually done this?  Its really the best solution.  The Quarian wants to go home, the Elcore buys him out so he has enough money to get a trip home.

Oh really, wow.. that is indeed interesting. My Paragon love the Q Sheps buys him the ticket. While my don't really care Shep gets the Elcor to back off so he can get his own damn money. With this knowledge can see my Balance Shepard doing it (assuming he knows it will get the Elcor to pay for it, of course).

Paragon -
Act as Patriarch's krantt
Stop Miranda from killing Niket
Save the refinery workers + punch Zaeed
Save the sick batarian on Mordin's recruitment, but kill the ones holding Daniel hostage
Save the salarians on Thane's recruitment
Hug Tali
Hug the lady that lost her daughter to Morinth
Mostly Paragon the side quests (Feros colonists etc.)
Anything that is pro-quarian (tell Kal'Reegar to keep his head down, give Veetor to Tali, yell at C-Sec over the credit chit)
Kill Morinth

Renegade
Most Renegade interrupts except punching the reporter and stepping on Mouse's throat
Kick the merc out the window
Shoot or headbutt krogan whenever possible
Tell Elias I'm a Spectre and could kill him without consequences ("that might be the shortest interrogation ever")
#$*^ out the Admiralty Board (the Renegade speech is 100x better, + "I didn't do this for one of your people, Admiral, I did it for one of mine")
Beat the crap out of the turian muggers (have you seen the Paragon option here?  Shepard actually pays them to go away... couldn't load my game fast enough the one time I chose that)
Pull my gun on the batarian recruiter as FemShep ("I bet mine is bigger, tough guy")
Kill Elnora
Kill the mercs at the start of Miranda's loyalty mission
Let Garrus kneecap Harkin and kill Sidonis
Give the fake ID to the asari

Yeah, my Shepard's a little confused. :D  My basic approach is "I'm one of the good guys and I protect the weak, but mess with me or my crew and God himself can't save you".  With proper mission order it's still possible to keep Jack/Miranda and Tali/Legion's loyalties, even for a somewhat "mixed" Shepard.  (I always end up with more Paragon points overall, however.)

My Paragon does a lot of punching there. My Renegade Shepard just does the world's fastest interrogation ever.

I always punch Zaeed in the face. Always.
I always burn the Krogan in Mordin's loyalty mission. In fact, I do a lot of renegade interrupts if they're aimed at enemies in that way. The mercs in Miranda's loyalty mission is a good example.
The exception would be that I don't knock the Eclipse (I think it was Eclipse) mercenary out the window unless I actually am renegade.

I'm going paragon on important decisions, and overall paragon most of the time. But Cathka is really working too hard, that Krogan warlord should now better then tell his boring fairytales, But punch Zaed is one of my favorites (I believe its paragon - need more of this). lso don't mind interrogating Ellias with a bit enthusiasm....

I always hug Tali.

I actually didn't punch the reporter, and found the following Paragon response a lot more satisfying.

I always send the Biotic god in, because that's just too funny.

And Cathka's been working too hard. One of these days I'll see if there's another option to wreck the gunship....

And in ME1 I always saved Wrex.

I punched the reporter in ME1 and punched her again in ME2. Needless to say, I'm gonna punch her again in ME3. XD

I always Paragon-start the Migrant Fleet trial ... then commence righteous chewing out of the admirals once they spring Tali's father's death on her. Also grab the Crowning Moment of Heartwarming.

Also, while I don't punch the reporter, I do Renegade that conversation, just because Shepard steamrolling her like that is _awesome_ and I fully agree with his 'They're heroes. They deserve better than _you_.'

I Renegade-interrupt a lot, because they're both fun and cinematic. The only places I found I preferred the Paragon interrupt when given a choice between the two were Veetor's bit and the conversation with Mordin.

I never interrupt Mordin, Miranda or Garrus during their loyalty missions. Mordin's old colleague has crossed the line into Complete Monster, Niket pretty much admitted that he screwed Miranda over for the money without even bothering to try and confirm the story with her, and both Harkin and Sidonis deserve everything they get. Hell, Garrus' loyalty mission is pretty much the definition of 'friends help you move. true friends help you move bodies.'

I Paragon Jack's loyalty mission, if only because it gives her peace of mind _and_ the guy dies _anyway_ (that was one big boom).

I always mix Paragon and Renegade in Conrad's sidequest. Paragon, because the asari was _really_ asking for it (Gianna may be rubbing off on me), and Renegade because really, Conrad _needs_ someone to shout at him for being a ******.

Oh I still let Garrus kill Sidonis, I just want the full story and I find the Sidonis accepts the bullet a much more intense climax than running away and getting shot from behind.

Niket both Para and Rene stop her because of the same reason. She does not want to do this, Paragon Shepard wants to "protect her soul" while the Renegade Shepard is like "I do not want a guilty conscience Cerberus cheerleader on my team" Like how my Renegade Shepard kills the Doctor for Garrus in ME1. He was taking his sweet time. I would have liked something like that for Miranda "I did because you were not sure you wanted this, I did." Of course I wonder what she would think of him then. :D

I'm not sure if he really does buy him out though, buying out on Omega can mean more fatal measures being taken after all.  The way Shepard mentions that 'Who'd notice a sick Quarian?' makes me think that it's not a happy ending for the Quarian at least.

That's the best way. Some of the Paragon persuades during the trial come off as a bit fawning. I usually start off Paragon but then as soon as they start mistreating Tali my Shepard brings the Renegade thunder. It's great fun calling them out on what dicks they're being.

Same, especially if you have high enough renegade to use the renegade persuasion and give them the righteous butt chewing they deserve.  Otherwise, use rally the crowd if you have Reeger and the jittery quarian are on your side/alive.

Aye, I do the same. I start all Paragon and when I realise the farse factor, Renegade. I also love using Renegade at the final option after the Geth infested ship. One of my favourite Renegade speeches "This is a waste of time, we are leaving." *turns around and when accused, turns back and rips right into them all* So satisfying.

Paragon:
Shutting down the televisions with my omni-tool.
Giving Veetor to Tali.
Stop the kid from signing up in Omega.
Give the Quarian on Omega 1000 credits.
Protect Patriarch as his krantt.
Tell the Volus and the C-Sec officer they are asses with the Quarian.
Everything paragon possible on Tali's loyalty mission. (Well, most of it)
Warning shot on Thane's son.
Protect Sidonis (only to hear the full story, still might let him get shot at the end).
Stopping Miranda from shooting Niket.
Push the "Biotic God" Volus.
Paragon speech during the interviews.
Help the wounded Salarian during Thane's recruitment.
Help the wounded Batarian during Mordin's recruitment.
Kill Morinth.
Rewriting the Geth.
Tricking the Asari Merchant into going to the Bar on Illium.

Renegade:
Set the Krogan on fire during Mordin's loyalty quest.
Let Garrus shoot Harkin.
From now on: Leave the base intact.

Paragons I never do:
Citadel Discounts... I do perhaps one of them... Can't be bothered and I don't want to sound like a retard all the time.

Renegades I never do:
Punching the reporter. I can't get myself to do that... seems so... stupid?
Interrupting Mordin. (Never do the Renegades, sometimes the Paragons)
