I don't know if this has come up, but yesterday I noticed that the triangular shape in TIMs eyes is also present at his shirt and cufflinks. I have a vague recollection, that in ME 1 there was one planet where there was mentioned triangular lights on its surface.

Could this be somekind of weird clue about TIMs identity or is it just a red herring?
Does my memory fail me?
Or have I just watched too much Lost?

Well if you say there is a Planet description similar to this then it could indicate the Cerberus 'Homeworld' as it were. Which would be very good target practice. XD

I want his eyes. I can't say I remember reading that though... but who knows, could be a Cerberus structure. They got lots of them all out through the galaxy... so... And ehh, there is no Cerberus 'homeworld'. Perhaps a main base... but not a homeworld.

I have a feeling that TIM is a computer. The only other explanation that I can think of is that he has some kind of cybernetic implants...

Cerberus is humanity.
Humanity's homeworld is Earth.

Cerberus' homeworld is Earth.

That is exactly what I was thinking.

If he was a computer, why would he need to keep cerberus cells to a minimum to allow him to oversee them all?

TIM is human by the way. You're treated to a narrative view of his thoughts and memories in the book Ascension.

I thought this too, but if you listen to him carefully after you escape the Lazuraus Project he says something like:
Humanity is up against the biggest challenge of our brief existence. In other conversations he is much more distant and seems to avoid posessive pronouns,  but he definately uses it in the first conversation you have with him.

TIM is human, he's just got some cool eye implants is all. Just like renegade Shep's eyes glow red.

Yeah I think so too. His triangle fetish is just so peculiar, also the color of the star seems to fluctuate depending on his mood.

Not like that. As in the main base of operations other than the space station.

I really think people are looking too deeply into the whole thing with TIM's eyes. They're synthetic eyes. Something happened to him, that we don't know, and probably will never know. It's just a touch the devs gave him to make his character more mysterious, and to encourage us to be less trusting of him.

The Ascension novel outright says that TIM used to be an ordinary person with a job and a family. So no, he's no machine. Eye-implants are the most likely option. TIM seems to embrace the concept of transhumanism wholeheartedly.

Soldiers have optical implants to enhance their accuracy. He most likely has implanted eyes to enhance his vision to perfection. He is all about the advancement of humanity at any cost...expect him to be severely genetically modified, along with having cybernetic implants.
