The Normandy Reborn is also awesome, really uplifting.

A really good movie score they produced, I must say. :)

I liked this one when I first heard it. With Thane, I think. Anyway, the OST should have more tragic/powerful violin pieces!

Horizon Another atmospheric piece. Good use of piano here!

It's a great soundtrack but I like the first one's OST more. It's just a matter of preference.

I prefer ME2's OST. Feels like a hollywood blockbuster.

Suicide Mission

I don't know, but it's just the epic feeling of that last mission when you have to run for your life.

I like Legion's and Tali's Tracks. Also the End Run feels very cinematic too.

Agreed. Suicide mission is my fav in the OST. The soft somewhat sad start, moving into a more neutral bit (at peace?) before going into a martial tone and thats just at the beginning. Excellent arrangement

Jacob theme is one of my favourites too. Love the strings on it. Used both in Jacob's loyalty quest and the later strings part is at least also used on Tali's at a certain specific scene :crying:

I ordered the ME1 soundtrack on amazon. ME2 is download mp3 only. I am a bit hesitant. Is all that extra amazon software worth it? Or should I just wait till ME2 OST comes out on CD. I'm not ripping it off, they deserve the money for their work.

All it is a program to download the music, otherwise it is all in MP3 format and perfectly fine. You can remove the software afterwards and only install it as needed.

I bought the whole soundtrack on amazon a few days ago and I'm listening to it continuously since then

Most favorite tracks so far: Illusive Man, Normandy Reborn, Tali, End Run, Suicide Mission and Reflections. Always have to fight with tears while listening to Reflections 'cause it's also a sad song and played while Shepard looks onto the coffins if someone died during the suicide mission. One more reason for me to leave no one behind :D
Honestly said, I simply love all tracks. Jack Wall did a VERY GOOD job ^_^

And I will also order a solid copy once it is released along with the ME1 soundtrack cd on the biowarestore.
