hi,

in my modul, i created 2 exterior maps, with standart textures for the ground. When i play my modul on my pc, everthing looks like it should be, and works as it should be. But, when others play my modul, the ground texture is total different..

it looks like this:
1)

2)

i have absolutely no clue what produces this, since i only use the standart textures for the terrain..
i have tried
-deleting the bumpmapping texture --> useless, effect still exists for testes of my modul...
-setting diffent uv-tile size --> useless...

has anyone an idea? cause this is freakin me out... everything else in my modul runs perfect but this :(

maybe its cause.. i am using the toolset on my pc at home, which does not have connection to the internet? like there has to be a connection from the toolset to bioware-servers?

/bump :D

hmm this is only happening to my large exterior lvls.. hmm maybe i should change the chunk value.. but hmm i dont have a clue which value.. lets say i have a mapsize of 192 *192.. what chunksize would be good? is there anywhere an info / calculation how to set this up properly?

Did you make sure that the files for your textures are in that module? I only get an error similar to that one if my custom textures are missing.

Also when it comes to mapsize you'll want to use a power of 2. So.. 192^2 is the right idea but what your looking for is something like 2^6 .... In games usually we use maps that have a good round number of bytes. Like 256x256, 512x512 and so on. the reason for that is because realtime environments like games are optimized for standard chunks of memory. So a 192x192 map could be giving you that error, Try using a 128x128.
