I have no intention of starting a debate, but I wish to make my desires known for any developers that care to pay attention to my wishes. I will be avoiding spoilers.

When ME1 came out, I purchased an Xbox360 and ME1, as it was exclusive to Xbox. Now I have a $300 dollar paperweight that doesn't transfer saves over. I purchased ME2 for PC as that clunky Xbox will never compare to what I can build myself. When I made my first playthrough on ME2, it seemed every 'canon' (or decision made without previous save anyway) was not what I did on any of my playthroughs on ME1. The game felt hollow, empty. I got a ME1 save from a friend, while the decisions weren't always what I would pick, it really added to the game. I would like to have the option, on a ME2 New Game+ (or perhaps after completion on a new character), to set the variables used from ME1 in ME2. Whether thats a dialog based interrogation, or a simple seperate program that you fill in the answers for your choice playthrough.

I desire more squadmates, I like who we have, but I want an Elcor soldier, a Volus, and a Hanar. A Batarian and a Vorcha would round out the race list nicely. They may not commonly be soldiers, may avoid combat as a race for numerous reasons, but as Mordin says, "always outliers." These should be deep and interesting like those already playable. Also, unless they have no need to protect themselves from vacuum, toxic/acidic atmosphere, or temperature, thier armor and helmets should seal completely (please think about fixing our current teammates too).

Speaking of armor and helmets,  removable/wearable helmets should be a button press away at anytime, for all of your squad. I like the idea of customizable armor, but we need MANY more pieces. We need the option for our team too, or give us different armor sets. One appearance and a palette swap isn't good enough, Grunt just doesn't compare to Wrex wearing Rage or Warlord armor!

Weapons. We need more guns! Differing rates of fire, pulse bursts, clip sizes, effective ranges, and appearance could all be altered. While I liked ME1's overheat better than ME2's ammo, I can live with it, but you don't need to place power cells right before every major battle. When I switch a squad member's weapon, he better use that weapon for the rest of the mission, he runs out of ammo, or until I tell him different.

There must be more derelict ships and stations in the galaxy we can find and explore. Undiscovered bases on planets long abandoned by older races. I miss the exploration and unknown factor of those side missions. I miss the areas that aren't just a hallway you walk down and crouch under the first cover and wait for the enemies to show up.

More time should be spent on building up resources for the final battle. In particular, I went on a side mission that involved many mechs, and spent the entire mission thinking, "I need to get control of the factory that makes these, this cannon fodder would save many lives!"  I understand that Shepard would be concerned about the Collectors and any possible links with the reapers, but he should be constantly thinking about preparing to fight the reapers, and bringing anything he can under his belt. Races, factions, ships, colonies, factories, anything that will believe him or he can subvert, control, command, or take over to prevent a reaper war, or fight one should prevention prove impossible.

I miss the Mako, and planet explorations. I don't think there was anything wrong with the Mako's controls, just the planets we were able to land on were way too rough. Possibly more realistic, but when fun conflicts with realism in a game, fun must win.

Scanning is not fun. I am in command of the most advanced warship around, with an illegal AI on board, and *I* have to scan planets for resources? WTH? "Hey EDI (or Joker, or Crewman #6, whoever!), scan every planet in every system as we fly by, and mine any resources we are lacking, and let me know if you detect any anomalies," says the intelligent Shepard. I'm too busy trying to save all intelligent life in the galaxy to scan planets!

Why do I have a pilot on my ship if I have to drive it anywhere? "Hey Joker, set coordinates for that planet on my screen." This is not a ship driving simulator after all. Similar to this, I'd like to see the mini games go away. I can beat them every time, they are an annoyance and a time waste. They feel like an attempt to lengthen the gameplay time without increasing the experience. Minimally, give us a bypass around the game. It can cost credits or resources or omnigel or whatever.

When TIM calls, Joker forces me to go talk with TIM instead of doing what I want? I would have spaced Joker by now. Loyalty to me or spacewalk, you choose. That's paragon too, cause Cerberus is dirty. Renegade would do the same I imagine. If EDI doesn't like it I walk away from Normandy. I already know I can slip aboard any ship, kill all the crew, and hire my own, if no other way presents itself.

I will end this here, for now, as I'm tired. Thanks for taking the time to read this!
