I think that is because they are your closest friends (only real friends).  Shepard goes, 'laugh it up, (Tali/Garrus)'  I thought that line was amazing.

Really?  I wish I knew that.  I love the whole dialog where Ken says he's surrounded by women and has to be careful... that guy cracks me up and better be back in ME3.

Really?  I wish I knew that.  I love the whole dialog where Ken says he's surrounded by women and has to be careful... that guy cracks me up and better be back in ME3.

Yeah you get one of Tali's best lines in the card game:

"And I thought I had a good poker face."

If you bring Samara and Garrus to the derelict reaper... when you interact with Garrus at the husk spikes she will take part in the conversation... she also has unique dialogue if you choose the paragon choices in the conversation.

Tali almost has more dialogue on Jacob's loyalty mission than Jacob does. That one really stood out to me.

Try taking a bunch of different characters to Legion's loyalty mission. They all bring up a lot of different arguments about the morals surrounding the heretic choice. You can hear some interesting arguments that actually reflect what I have heard on the forums.



Though if you bring Grunt he just ponders the ethics of punching a Geth.

When you take Tali and Legion on Samara's loyalty mission, they have a funny conversation when you tell the cop she shouldn't obey orders that will get her killed.

One time I brought Zaeed with me for Grunt's loyalty mission:

The way he says it is hillarious to me. Also he comments on the Varren fights if you bring him over there.

Seriously one of the best lines in the entire game comes from doing this.

Asari Merc: (To Miranda) "Cerberus lets you Wh*re around in that outfit?"

Jack: (to Shepard) "I like her! Are we still recruiting?"

For Tali I'd definately bring her on Zaeed's mission to see her looking out over the waterfall, and absolutely bring her on Legion's Loyalty quest to hear her input on the whole situation.

Funniest part though, is the fact Jack has even less on. XD

I don't know if all the companions do this but Tali has a decent bit of input on Jacob's loyalty mission.

She comments on the crew being crazy after the attack, she makes comments about Taylor using mechs against his crew, arranging bodies and she commented when I let the hunters kill him.
