That is unless the guy who started this whole "get the anagram!" thing considered "D Aslan" to work as "The Aslan".

Someone mentioned in similiar thread that he might be Maker
That'd be a twist people would remember for years to come. Love it.

rearrange the letters in his name and you might find something interesting.
I'm not coming up with anything... is it something that references one of the old BG games? It's been a very long time since I played them.

I always thought he was a dwarf. And yes, seeing him among the dead darkspawns was somewhat disconcerting.

1. liquid snake = dead (cailan)
2. solidus snake = president (sandal)
3. solid snake = fighting for the greater good (alistair) .....

what race is Sandal supposed to be? If he is a Dwarf, why is it he can manipulate magic?

Dwarves are able to work with lyrium due to their racial magic resistance, despite the fact that the same magic resistance prevents them from casting spells. Enchantment in Dragon Age isn't done by spellcasting, but rather by folding lyrium into objects and applying runes, and was originally a dwarven art. Notice how Tranquil mages can't cast spells, either, but are capable of enchantment.

ENCHANTMENT!KingGabe83 wrote...
So last night i beat the game for the first time, but the scene right before you go up to the second floor in Fort Drakon you come up to a room with a massive quantity of bodies laying all over the floor with blood everywhere. Yet there is a small, very familar figure standing in the middle of the corpses. It's Sandal, Bodahn Feddic's little dwarven son. When you confront him and asks him what happened, he just looks up with his blood covered face and replies, "Enchantment?"
WTF! The little dude creeped me out and I dont know what to make of what happened with all the darkspawn bodies surrounding him!!!!!
Please post your ideas below with what you think happened.
Creepy little mentally challenged bastard

Before or after its exoskeleton collapsed due to its own weight?

When I got to that part of the game I thought... all this time Bodhan was telling me he was using the wardens as protection on the roads but he just wanted to sell me over priced goods. In truth my party needed Sandal along for protection. Sandal most likely wiped out 5-6 waves of hurlocks and ogres during the dark spawn ambush at camp while we were sleeping... then those damned shrieks snuck through while Sandal was busy enchanting.

Sandal has a pair of sandals that grant him +2000 against darkspawns & kins.

It's fraking unbeliavable. Have you ever shook hands with someone who had down syndrome? They're like walking human tanks bro. Now add that retard strength to natural Dwarven muscle/fighting skill and you have a natural born killer.
Sandal=Unstoppable.
Downies FTW!

Simple. He's good at enchantments and he used some. Don't find Sandal at all creepy, myself. Conner, now, that's a different story. I wouldn't turn my back on that kid.
Wow, point very well made, i guess it isnt the creepiness so much towards Sandal but more so the sheer wonderment as to what actually happened. We'll definately need to keep a watch on conner when awakenings comes out. But as for Sandal, I'm kinda leaning to the idea that when Duncan fell at Ostagar his soul left his body and infused itself with a dwarf. Duncan's sheer power was too much for Sandal's brain to handle, thus the slight retardation.
