hehe Yahtzee secretly liked it. It's always easy to tell when he actually had fun with a game his jokes have less punch behind them.

Sounds like he played on easy. But this is actually a pretty positive review.

Damn You LumpOfCole! I wanted to post it!

I agree with Yathzee. The Hammerhead should be replaced with Jetpacks and have missions on planets with laser shooting Varren.

Haha yeah I also came on here to post it. Oh well, I think he made many valid points at picking out the flaws in this game, especially those of planet scanning.

If Yahtzee likes the game, we can agree it's pretty good.

Weird how he didn't discuss any of the biotic combat though.

Not enough nudity, good writing, good inventory system change, boring resource scanning. Pretty much everything he said.

That's about as good a review as you're going to get from him.

"Lazarus Project"? Wow, I bet that took a whole meeting to come up with.

Hah!

"Commander Shepard should acquire resources by shooting them out of an aliens face or be extracting them from the throats of alien hotties with his tongue."

He said the combat was too easy. He probably played on Normal. It is too easy on Normal but that is what the difficulty settings are for.

very positive for a Yahtzee review

I agree completely with the ''Bioware face''

the animations during dialogues are too repetitive

I thought the animations were a huge step up from ME1. Not perfect, but better than before.

You have Shepard walking around and fidgeting while listening to people drone on about their personal histories whereas in ME1, most of the time she stood perfectly at attention.

Shame he probably won't pick up the game again after the Hammerhead DLC comes out -- if it comes out.

Not even with monkey eating pants and laser-shooting wolves and laser-eating dolphins!

Great stuff he always makes me laugh, while (mostly) bringing up excellent points.

A point that I hadn't seen on here that had bugged the hell out of me and he mentions, is that once I had found out that some of the later conversations need high Paragon/Renegade points it did take some of the RPG out of the story. Now I must follow a single route in choices to earn my points to resolve other matters. Took some of the immersion out of it for me. The old point system still allows you to make your own decisions but sacrifice other aspect to get the higher level conversations.

Yeah Yahtzee is all comedy. His game criticisms, while entertaining, are often superficial. meaning he clearly does not beat most games he reviews and his criticisms reflect some of his ignorance.

however, he is always funny and like i said, more entertainment than critic. this episode was great and he is nailed the brown frock of surveying, lol.

the eve jab at the end was awesome too

Another excellent Yahtzee review. His review of Dragon Age was pretty funny also if you haven't seen it.
