Although it did feel a bit weird when people recognised me under that thing.

Cerberus, Inferno, Collector, Blood Dragon.
I don't use any of them. I like the customization options offered with standard N7 armor (I like the visor that goes over one eye that you pick up in... I think it's Omega) and I just don't really like the look of the DLC/bonus armors.
There's also the Helmet Toggle thing, but as I don't use the DLC/bonus armors it's not overly important to me.

Same story. I dun like walking around Illium and meeting up with old friends with a bucket on my head.
I like the look of the Blood Dragon Armor and would wear it just for its aesthetic if helmets were able to be toggled.
But yeah, despite having every single DLC equipment out so far (), I only ever use the Incisor Sniper Rifle on my snipy squaddies and Eviscerator Shottie on those who use shotties.
Everything else just collects dust.

Does anyone know if wearing the Collector armor when you visit that scared Quarian at the beginning of the game prompts a response from him?

Despite the missing toggle option I used the Cerberus and the Collector armor each for a mission. And I was really relieved to see that the visor of ther cerberus ist quite useable because you can at leas shepard's face.
Same. I mostly use the Cerberus armor because you could see Shep's face. The only time I used the N7 armor was when I went to Illium to meet Liara (my LI in ME1).

I don't know about a helmet toggle like in ME1 but having it disappear during dialogue then reappear when done would be enough for me.

I do use the Dr Pepper Recon Hood for certain missions that i think it would fit... but usually its the +10 headshot visor, or the Sentry visor.

i don't because Helmet Toggle.
Same.. I've got the Collector's Armor, Blood Dragon Armor, Terminus Armor, Inferno Armor and now the Cerberus Armor but since, atleast for the first playthroughs, I want to see the facial expression in the talkings, and since the helmet can't be removed atleast for those, I'm not using them, yet..
