I chose near the galaxy map, or wherever Pressly's flashback occurred. In memory of him. Damn, I miss my XO.

I put mine by the galaxy map, near Pressly's datapad. The galaxy map is the heart of the CIC. Seemed right to me.

I put it in front of the bridge the first time, and in front of the galaxy map the second time.

I put it close to Presleys datapad.

I simply thought, for my paragon-shepard, Presley's logs where showing how humanity should learn to work together with all species.

So the message was the most important thing for me on the crash-side.

Wouldn't the batarians or some greedy race have salvaged the wreck by now? There is some juicy Turian/Human technology in that old ship.

Usually next to the Normandy hull piece it seems the most scenic spot and is the only part in the light.



When they first announced it and that you could recover something, I was really hoping it would be a piece of the Normandy just to give some continuity between the two ship. I was a bit disappointed with the helmet.

Where is the helmet? ive been to the planet and collected the tags and placed the monument(next to the normandy logo) but never found the helmet.

Go to the galaxy map and then travel right along a small ridge thing.

I thought it was an interesting idea that during the Normandy Crash site mission, you actaully have a few options as to where to place the monument, I was just wondering where people placed it, and if they had any reason for that choice.

I always placed it next the section of the hull with the ship name on it, it just seemed the most appropriate.

Damn never knew there were options as to where the memorial could be placed. Have to do check that next playthrough I do.

There is a spot only a few metres from the Mako, that is open and gives you a view of almost the entire wreck site. Alas that wasn't an option, so closest to that: Mako. (...and /me belong to the minority that did like the Mako, so I'm fine with that.)

I always put it where I saw the "Hit F to place monument" box appeared, in front of the Hull.
Furthermore, the link in my sig is pretty appropriate for this thread I think!

I put it the first place available as soon as I could so I could get away from that ship a.s.a.p. If there was a possibility to nuke the Mako to ensure it never returns, I would have done that also.
