If you are having problems after installing the toolset or using it. Try the following steps.

Check that you have nothing in your Override Folders.  Dot his by 

Navigate to your My Documents/Bioware/Dragonage/Modules/Singleplayer folder and you should find a Overrides folder Make certain this is EMPTY

Navigate to your Dragon Age install folder then go to Packages/Core/Override and make certain you have NOTHING in there.

Navigate to your Dragon Age install Folder then go to Modules/Single Player/Override and make certain NOTHING IS IN IT.

If there is move them OUT. Overrides are exactly that they OVERRIDE the core game.

If nothing is in these folders then post. Yes it is annoying yes Bioware should have caught the problem.. But give them a break the games only been out a few days the toolset less...

If you are worried about these problems... DO NOT install the toolset until later.

Did all that, problems persist (can't level, entering dialouge in battle, reviving in battle, etc).

Also having problems. Characters won"t react to their own AI or tactics, they just stand around now unless manually moved.

Beyond the overrides, delete or rename this entire folder if you have not already done so:



../My Documents/Bioware/Dragonage/Modules/Singleplayer



NOTE, this is in your Documents directory, NOT the install path.
