In the last few months we've had the Dragon Age Warden's Quest event featuing Canada, The US, England, Germany, Poland, Netherlands, Czech Republic, France, Spain and more. We're had ME2 launch events in Australia, Poland, Germany and England. Currently Germany is running a ME2 contest to send 2 people to Florida for a Parabolic space flight. I gave away signed comics to random winners regardless of country. During the NFC championship game chat, we gave away clothes, posters, lithographs, games and game hardware to anyone participating regardless of country. And we have lots more to come.

So the opportunities are out there. Some contests are regional (liek this one, or the current German one) some are widely open. Keep your eyes open for what we get up to next.

I'm from Quebec also, so even most of the Canadian contests don't apply to us.

FYI:

"To be eligible you must download the featured gamer pic and complete the ‘Missing in Action’ achievement between January 29 and February 25 2010."

So, since I acquired the achievement on the 26th (thus making myself ineligible for the prize, as I understand it), I just now made a new gamertag, and acquired the gamerpic and achievement again on this new tag. I hope that doesn't count as cheating, since a good chunk of ME fans would have had the achievement before the 29th.

I'm not mad this contest is Canada only - I'd never think for a minute I'd win even if I was in Canada (not that that would stop me downloading the gamerpic just in case). If it was a worldwide contest, my chances would be even more miniscule.



But what annoys me is the complete lack of gamerpics for this game. I still use my Saren gamerpic from completing ME1 on Hardcore. I just really like it, even more than the N7 one I got for completing insanity.



Is it that hard to create a few decent looking ones? Or even any at all?

True, but we didnt get the opportunity to actually have a tour of your studio.  I think that is the top prize for a lot of Bioware fans

But of course we recognise you not going to pay for players all over the world to come visit.   In which case your other prizes make sense and they are really good!  Bioware certainly caters across the globe.

 I dont think were actually complainly as such, were just damn jealous of that lucky Canadian
