I am trying to get the acheivement for insanity difficulty on the xbox, and I am past the collector vessel.
However I accidentially changed my difficulty setting somehow during a mission after that, and swiftly reloaded to a point in the game where I was still on insanity when i noticed. And as such I havent played outside insanity on that save.

Anyone know if this will ruin my acheivement?
I am getting scared that the acheivement is locked to the character and not the savegame...

As long as the save you load up is on insanity you should be good. I had this happen to because I accidentally hit the X button on the main option screen somehow and it restored the defaults. I just went back to my save that still had insanity difficulty setting and I got the achievement.
