WTF... Tali's loyalty went down?!

the beginning during my 2nd playthrough, I did ALOT more renegade
convos this time, and yet, I can't chose to do a renegade choice? I
just went through the Omega 4 Relay and Tali is going to freaking die
because of the lost loyalty... Anyone know how to ensure she WILL
survive?

It's my 2nd playthrough I'm doing right now
I did pick Legion, only because I thought, who ever I sided with... I would have enough renegade to convince either... since I did a LOT of renegade choices

1. Chose Tali over Legion the argument, didn't have enough renegade (I had about 50%)
2. Spoke to Legion and asked about the fight with Tali, from there I could choose the renegade option that regained his loyalty. Something like - 'I need you to understand why I said that' etc.
If not, you could try speaking to Tali and regaining her loyalty that way. Not sure how much renegade you would need tho...

Don't make her do anything important.
This and that especially goes for NOT picking her as one of your final battle party members and make sure you have 2 other squishies in her place leaving her with all your combat based characters to ensure she doesn't do a mordin

The main thing is to not take Legion's side about sending Tali's father's research data to the Geth. You can take Tali's side and then come back to Legion and tell him you were lying so you keep both of them happy and more importantly...loyal.
**** so you're saying I can side with Tali, lose loyalty to Legion, and talk to Legion after and gain his loyalty back?

I play pure paragon, so I have no advice on the renegade choices... I was under the assumption that during the little fight with her and legion, a paragon, and renegade option you chastise them both, and don't pick sides and keep both loyalties...
however if you gave the Admiralty board the Data on Tali's father, you never had her loyalty to start with, and you are pretty much screwed for betraying her.

don't leave her to " hold the line" and don't have her in the final fight.
How do you pull that off? Isn't everyone you leave behind before the final fight, part of the Hold The Line crew (with the exception of the guy you send to escort the crew)? I don't remember picking anyone specific for that job.

I think tali's loaylty is directly connected to how much you post in the "I LOVE TALI" thread.
That's a fact.

If she's unloyal and you want her to survive:
1) You cannot send her through the vents.
2) You cannot send her back with the crew
3) You cannot have hear lead a fire team (which you can't do in any event)
4) You cannot take her as part of the final squad.
So, the only thing left is to make sure all your heavy defensive types are holding the line, and she should survive the HTL section.
Send back Thane or Mordin with the crew and take Jack and either Thane or Mordin with you.

The linebackers (defenders, whatever you want to call them) are: Garrus, Zaeed, and Grunt.
Drat... someone beat me to it. Well just remember, leave Garrus, Zaeed, Grunt behind. Do NOT take them with you for the final battle or have them escort the crew back.

I lost talli . She was loyal and she died due to explosion in engine room. anyone one can tell why ? and its my 2nd try for ME2.
Her loyalty wont save her from you being a cheapskate and not upgrading the Normandy.

As her Captain, you need to have EVERY single upgrade you can - at least for the ship, unless you are going for the 'low or no survivors suicide mission'. Get that bucket of bolts up to speed. Silaris armor, multicore shields, and some Thanix love. The rest doesn't even matter.
You do not need every upgrade in the world, but every single one helps.
If you need any more help, let us know. We can get you through this with zero deaths. Pacifen and Occam's Razor have made us flowcharts to make all of this very simple and laid out - its in the stickies section.

Try this fine thread it will tell why people live or die on the Suicide mission. http://social.biowar...5/index/5855452 It's even stickied at the top of this forum.
