Aethyta as a bartender on an upgraded Normandy ? Hell yeah this idea is awesome. I could imagine her giving me some input about the mission,council politics and telling me other interestig storys. Can't think of anyone else, who would make a better advisor/bartender.

You know, a bit OT, but I really believe Aethyta is Liara's dad.

Just some of the things she say...

...fathered a pureblood daughter that did not work out

...need to get our daughters out there doing things rather than shaking their ass in bars or joining merc groups

... I told them we ought to be building our own mass relays, and they laughed the blue off my ass

Given all the nasty comments I heard on Illium toward pure bloods, I can see how the strain of having an Asari on Asari relationship and offspring, as well as unfavorable political views would put a strain on any relationship between 'doveish' Benezia, and 'hawkish' Aethyta.

And Liara did seem to go against the 'norm' of being wild, carefree, shaking her can in bars, or being a merc, thing that many young asari fall into. Influence from Benezia, by way of Aethyta?  They agreed on wanting more for Liara? Liara herself says she was expected for follow her mother, but chose instead to be a scientist. So somewere along the lines, she had it instilled in her to at least do something with her youth other than stripping.
Maybe Benezia encouraged Liara's curiosity and the development of her mind, the one philosophy she may have agreed with Aethyta about; getting their daughter out there doing something constructive, early on.

Ah just a thought... I think it would be cool if it turned out that Aethyta were Liara's dad,

Bioware, make it so!
By far the best npc character in the game. I'd definitely let my shep visit her bar after every outing just to hear her greeting/banter

Maybe have some of the other characters visit it too at random intervals

I wrote this way back when (and probably on this thread) but yeah, get the Normandy a bar/lounge and have her as the bartender. Let her spend her matriarch years kicking some ass and serving some drinks.

Even if Athethyta isn't Liara's mom/dad, there could be a pretty touching scene where she could give Liara some much-needed approval and advice.

It was amusing, but it's a pity that the "beer goggle face" looks like a spastic clown. Regular Aethyta looked better.

If the Normandy doesn't get a bar, give her the yeoman's job. Can you imagine some of the commentary on the crew?

   Shepard:  Is there anything I need to know about the crew?

   Athethyta:  Yeah, uhm, sorry babe but Grunt's gonna be on the sidelines for a while.

   Shepard:  What happened?

   Athethyta:  Well the stupid s.o.b. tried to head butt me so I slapped him in the quad with a singularity.  It's gonna take him a bit to get himself... untangled.

She'd be great on the Normandy, but even better on the Council. Put her on there with Anderson and have a Council that is actually half decent at their jobs.

I'm in favour of this. Aethyta would actually be useful. Plus she'd probably biotically turn a Scion inside out rather than get dragged off by it...

Kelly's useless except for keeping the fish alive.

Plus who wouldn't love the idea of having a crewmate who wears the same deadpan expression as Serious Cat?
