Does anyone know precisely how Warp Ammo works?
It says in its description that it deals extra damage against enemies "affected" by Biotics.
We learned from the devs recently that weapons do +100% bonus damage to targets that are "rag dolled" by Biotic abilities like Pull.
Is the Warp ammo effect similar? If so, does it stack?
Also, does anyone know precisely what counts as "affected" by Biotics.? I imagine its obvious in the vase of abilities like Pull or Singularity.
How about Reave? Does the "writhing" effect count for warp ammo and the regular +100% weapond damage bonus?

It's damage is doubled to any targets that have a barrier, such as Asari Mercs and Collectors. If you max out Warp, I think it does an additional 50% damage whereas AP ammo does 75%.. I think warp ammo's situational but is very effective vs Collectors. Doing the last mission without it on my Engineer compared to the Collector ship with it made a big difference and made things very complicated.

It could be that the description simply means warp ammo is effective against barriers like disruptor ammo is effective against shields.

Heavy Warp ammo does +50% damage against barrier/health/armor afaik.
Not that it makes significant difference in the game.

The thing is, an enemy who is in the red and 'ragdolled' by biotics dies so quickly that I'm not even sure you'd notice the extra damage that warp ammo may inflict on enemies in biotic fields.

I tried testing this by making a lvl 5 Adept, and using Pull on the first Mech in the starting tutorial level, but it was too hard.
Pull deals damage VERY inconsistently to that mech. Sometimes I could 1 shot it with Pull alone, other times it wouldn't take any damage at all.
I was able to confirm that shooting the Mech while it was floating dealt roughly twice as much damage to it as shooting it without pull.
Beyond that however, I couldn't determine if Warp Ammo provides an additional benefit against it while it was floating. The damage from Pull was just too inconsistent to allow me to test the bonus damage from Warp Ammo.
Does anyone know how Pull's damage works? I didn't even know it damaged targets unless they collided with something else.
