I cannot seem to persuade anyone. At first I thought I just didn't have enough cunning as I was just starting the game. Yet now, more than fourty hours in and with more than forty cunning and the Master Coercion skill, I still cannot seem to persuade anyone. I've failed probably more than a dozen quests because I could not persuade the right person into agreeing with me and it is really starting to ****** me off now.

Dialogue options in general seem to be bugged for me. Intimidation also doesn't work and I just recently attempted to pick a lock during dialogue and failed that too, despite my rogue being a master lockpicker and having over thirty five dexterity along with my forty or so cunning.

Sounds like a serious case of unlucky to me.

I'd call it bad luck if it were simply a few random times that I failed, but it's more like every single bleeding time. I installed the new patch and no dice. I uninstalled and reinstalled my game and still I fail at every persuasion/intimidation/any dialogue option that involves using a skill or stat.

No problems here,at all.One or two levels of coersion and low to mid(15-20) cunning and I pass three out of four times.
Picking a lock in conversation probabally will default to the PC's lockpick skill.EG leli and Zev are limboed for the time being.
Humm Intimidate is Strength based NOT cunning. That may be the issue there.
