Hi All:   Just asking when a new DLC comes out will you save your game right before the ending or sometime earlier in the game?   So when the new dlc comes out you can just load up where you last left off.  For me I going to play right through but save a spot where say a new dlc, so I can start play there.   That what I did with Mass Effect.

I'll play without DLC, and when they bundle it and sell it as an expansion, I'll play through a second time.

I don't know what I will do. When DLC comes out I suppose we won't know what part in the game we need to have our saving before in order for it to work on a certain saving. I mean Bioware will probably say, but before it is out we probably won't know where at in the game we need a saving. If it has to be before a certain point in the game that is. I do know that I will get the DLC available at launch and put that into my game before I even start a playthrough.

I'll probably just play my playthroughs from beginning to end and save DLC for other playthroughs to make them feel a bit fresh.

Why I do want to play through the Warden's Keep DLC, I am going to wait for some review before I make the purchase. I have been burned before with these kinds of specific addons for other games. I want to test the waters of Dragon Age before I make any such purchases. Though if I was going to play through it, I would start it as soon as it was available.

For Warden's Keep and The Stone Prisoner, I will have them both 'installed' from the first game I play. Any other mods or addons for the main campaign that come out during my first playthrough will have to wait until I am finished, then I'll play them with my second... etc. etc.

All day 1 DLC will be in my first run, but I'll leave a save before the end for future DLC. If they add another party member like they did with Shale I'll start a new run to experience more.

Its been said that at least with both Warden's Keep and Shale's content, that once the map is open for you to go where you please so will that content be available to you. I'm not sure if this will also apply to all future DLC as well, but I wouldn't be suprised if it does.

I'll be preloading all the day 1 content prior to starting my first play through.

I'm also going to have Warden's Keep and the Stone Prisoner installed my first playthrough. I'll likely find a save point for my favorite characters in preparation for future DLC.

I'm almost falling asleep at my desk, so a "ditto" will have to suffice.

I'm tempted to say double ditto, but I don't think it would feel right to take a character back in time and branch out in another way. Obviously, that's personal preference, but I'd rather create a whole new character with the same origin than try to 'enhance' a character I've already spent a significant part of my life role-playing as.

Going with the flow here too.

Will install the initial freebies and explore them as & when they come up. Anything after that I will reserve for a second playthrough.

Just in case you are still looking for an answer. With a finished game you will have a single savegame that, chronologically, happens before the "endgame", but at the same time keeps everything from the last few minutes of the game, armor, equipment, money and alike... So no worries about not being able to do DLC, there's a savegame JUST for that =)

Well, I've made about 30 game saves for my playthrough (which I'm not done with yet), so in case I ever want/need to go back to any one part I can do so.

Sorry jonathon92 but read about it here first. The official (uninformative) spot is here and then please post your questions about it here.

The short version is the suits decided to release it on time despite the fact that it does not work. (IMHO) You can expect it to be back up and running again by about April/ June.<3
