I don't think their suits were intially their skins but I bring this up for evidence that it could become their skin after a period.

I don't personally think it is, I have a strong feeling that they're suspended in antibiotics or there is a constantly fluctuating system of supports to keep that from happening. I'm just saying it's possible that an Adult Quarian would be fused to their suits. All but their face of course, because that's clearly several inches away from the glass plating.

Guys, Tali states that not only does she take off her suit from time to time. But also that her suit has "bulkheads" to seal off sections of the suit so an infection on her SKIN doesn't spread.

You don't get to actually *see* Tali, so much as her mask is removed and you're looking up towards Shep and Tali on the bed. So her appearance is still just speculation...
