Liz Sroka, Michael Hogan, Shoreh Aghdashloo are my personal favorite, though I cannot fault any of the voice acting. It's all superb.



Btw, I'm pretty sure I hear Anthony Simcoe (Ka'****** - Farscape) around the Citadel.

Omg another Tali love thread? Am I the only one who found her annoying as hell? Especially her friggen whiney ass voice.

My favorites were Mordin and The Illusive Man.

I give very strong honorable mention to Tali, Femshep, Zaeed (for the "Shepard, I was just waxing Goddamn nostalgic" line if nothing else), and The Asari Bartender on Illium (I've heard that Claudia Black did her voice, but I didn't recognize her if that was the case).

Almost everyone else was really good though. ME2 had some of the best all around voice acting I've ever seen.


EDIT:  Completely forgot Michael Hogan (Captain Bailey).  He was really good as well.  I will admit, though, that I was a bit disappointed when I talked to him with Legion in my party and he didn't call him a "toaster."

Kenneth Donnelly (Who played this character?) He had some great lines in the engineer room.

Brandon Keener (Garrus), Michael Beattie (Mordin) and Liz Sroka (Tali) were the standouts from the squad for me---though there wasn't a bad performance in the bunch. Everyone fit their character quite well---whoever did the casting deserves a heap of credit. Martin Sheen was just phenomenal as the Illusive Man. Even the actors in bit parts like Patriarch, the Quarian admirals, the asari bartender, or Jacob's father were great.

I have to give the most props to Meer and Hale, however. They just had piles and piles of dialogue to read and they both did an amazing job with it.

QFT! Tali gets the checkmark here simply due to the emotional range her character had to portray: anger, depression, distrust, confusion, romance. Each facet of these emotions has a subtle nuance that relaly brought her character to life (the way her voice cracked on "Shepard" when she explained to Shepard she can't reveal her father to the Quarian people).

I think this game has the best voice acting I've ever heard. They were all marvellous... apart from maybe Tali but that's because I find her character petty and whiney rather than having a bad VO... oh yeah and Ken Donnelly or whatever he was called... wtf is up with that? If you're gonna have a Scottish character, you need someone who can accurately portray a Scottish accent. Unless they were giving a nod to Star Trek, in which Scotty's accent is diabolical, in that case fair enough.

 Agreed... but there's one men who mostly deserves to be placed between those briliant - the best in the game - ( even though all actors delivered ) list. Seth Green. Pure gold, perfection, genius, awesome matching betwen his own, and Joker's character. He's great. Hopefully, he'll get more time to talk next time, in the 3rd part.


Besides that I think, then Jacob, Jack, and... EDI.

Most improved is definitely MaleShep, who I now like, though I still prefer Femshep.



The two engineers were great.



Tali, Garrus are both excellent.



Samara's actress nails it.



Aria was great.



Zaeed was perfect. Exactly what he should be.



And, of course, Mordin.

It's a Scottish accent, and a real one.  There are many different dialects in Scotland, this one just wasn't Glaswegan.

Seth Green was indeed very good in this. The first one I felt a bit "meh" towards him but he really knocked it out of the park in this one.

And Helfer won me over with "That was a joke."

wow, not a lot of Jen Hale love here...she still takes VA honors, hands down. I guess because i seem to see not many people playing femshep.

Ah well. I also think Garrus and Mordin were excellently acted. But Jen Hale is my hero.

It's a Scottish accent, and a real one.  There are many different dialects in Scotland, this one just was Glaswegan.

In no way was that Glaswegian, I was in Glasgow last summer so I know how they talk. It sounds closer to an Edinburgh dialect than Glaswegian. It just sounded like an Englishman or American putting on an accent.

Yeah, I've also said that the most well-acted line in the game is Tali's response to Shep saying he can still get her exiled.

Also blown away not to see more love for Jennifer Hale's female Shepard. Mark Meer is adequate but to me every given line sounds flat in his reading compared with hers.



Overall excellent VA. Much as I love Adam Baldwin, though, did he seem startlingly miscast? It was like "Whoa... what?"

Seconded. Grunt also has some great lines. "I'd never stab you in the back, Shepard. Soldiers like you and me, in the face."

WRONG. He says 'warriors like you and me, straight to the face'.

I enjoyed everyone's voiceacting. Some that stood out for me where TIM, Zaeed and Femshep.
