Got my 4 today to:

Jack: #35

Garrus: #253

Minuteman: #104

Omega: #220

My Garrus one was probably the most damaged out of all them. A lot of wrinkles in it but I think it should look ok when its framed.

Both the enviro lithos came in pretty good shape though.

Likewise, I had to yank pretty hard even with one per tube. I did two orders of two, as well, because I had to check my available cash. All came in perfect condition. Condolences to those who received damaged products.

I just got mine today, I'm a little upset that there is a blemish on the ink area in the top right, the blemish is a crease. If you look at it it's not hard to see. It's not that noticable all together but I wish it wasn't there. Altogether though they are really nice.

Also, it is clear that order number has nothing to do with litho number. I ordered on Tuesday when they were listed as low inventory but still got some good numbers. My collection so far:

Garrus: 152

Minuteman: 54

Citadel: 362

I can relate the damage on my lithos to what you describe Hellhawx. I know they may look ok framed, but there are only 300, so why would you want one that isn't flawless? Especialy in packaging...

Yea, I prefered how my Citadel Litho was packaged when I bought that from the EA store. No wrinkles on the edges, no blemishes, no creases. It was wrapped with paper to keep it rolled and put in a large box that had plenty of space. The litho was flawless. This small tube system is dangerous. Getting the litho in and out is difficult and since it is wrapped so tight in a confined space, it suffers a higher risk of damage. Please note this for the future lithos BioWare Store. We appreciate the lithos and quality of them, but these small blemishes makes them bittersweet.

Everyone - Thank you for the feedback so far. If your litho is damaged please contact use. Based on your comments we'll be reviewing the tube size, packaging, how orders are pulled based on the numbering going forward.

I thought about possibly calling in, but since the blemish is small, and the fact that the lithos are sold out, I'll stay away from the hassle and stick with what I have. I appreciate though that our feedback is being considered.

Hmm, personally I'm fine with the random numberings, since I really don't like sitting on store pages refreshing to try to get the first numbered copy. Its already a rush to get the 300 before they run out. I do see that other people may care more about orders going out from lowest to highest, but I'm fine with the way it is now.

Like Hellhawx said, thanks for considering our feedback.

I just got my Garrus lithograph today. I was pretty concerned when I recieved the package as one the ends was kinda damaged and had lost its plastic cap somewhere in transport (I live in the UK). When I opened it up though, it was completely flawless.
I'm chuffed to bits.:D

My Lithographs still have not arrived. UPS status hasn't changed from "received billing information", and that was on the 22nd. getting worried.

Likewise. Has anyone in Vancouver B.C received theirs yet? Don't know if the Olympics wrecked havoc on the incoming mail parcels flow. Would be nice if I could get a hold of my tracking number. The order number is not working on the USPC tracking site.:?

Bioware Store reps conacted me, my shipping type does not come with a tracking number and has a shipping window of 3-4 weeks. A tad longer then I would expect for a destination in B.C Canada. But at least I got a confirmed delivery ship date of Feb 23rd.

Cheers.

Picked up my lithos today. Minuteman #169 and Omega #233, and they're beautiful! As far as I can tell, they are in perfect shape. Each one in its own tube, and the two tubes were packaged in a sturdy cardboard box with paper stuffed around them.

Not only are they bigger than I expected, but the colors are very sharp and vivid. Absolutely cannot wait until I get these framed

I feel sorry for those receiving damaged ones tho :(

I just got my Garrus lithograph today (number 77). I got a little worried when I saw that the tube had a plastic cap on one side but had tape on the other end. But when I took out the lithograph it was in good shape.

How do you guys plan on framing them? This is the first lithograph I've ever own and I don't know how to display it.

If only I had the money... professional framing for just one would cost nearly as much as all four lithos combined. I know that the main conservation procedure calls for acid free materials, UV blocking glass, and making sure the litho doesn't contact the glass. I doubt I'll ever be able to afford any of it, so I just took an old movie poster frame, put 2 in each frame, then folded tissues around the edges to help prevent it from contacting the lithos. I need to work on it some more, because gravity is causing them to lean on the plastic.

Huh. I guess they're wasted on me, then! I didn't know any of that stuff about proper framing.

I just slapped em inside some cheap poster frames and threw em on the wall. They'll probably fall victim to a party at some point, so I'm not all too concerned about preserving them for life.

Cool, thank you for the info!
For now I bought a regular poster frame that was kind of inexpensive. But I will look into getting it professionaly framed.......If I ever enough money for it.

Woah.. I framed mine today, but using generic picture frames with standard glass. Had no idea the optimal framing for lithos required all that. The stuff you're mentioning is for preserving the artwork over long periods of time (as in decades), yes?

For anyone interested, here's a ****ty cellphone photo of mine. The frames are 70x50 cm, mainland Europe doesn't do inches

Edit: Minuteman looks a little wrinkled there, but it's barely visible in normal light. The camera flash just exaggerated it.

Your welcome, and what I described is mega preservation framing, basically one level right above sticking it in a portfolio and keeping it in the dark. I'm sure that you wouldn't notice any fading from UV light for a few years, and even then you'd have to compare it to a mint condition litho to notice it. Still, it's my future goal to get these and future ones properly frames. I'm somewhat obsessive about preservation of these kinds of things. Framing like I described would be more for one of a kind lithographs, but these are almost one of a kind...

I do know that, for any artwork, it shouldn't EVER be in direct sunlight. UV glass won't help against that at all, but it helps against reflected light. Nevertheless, my framing is basically the lowest end possible... I also don't know what the term is, but whatever that raised border is around the edges of the frame also helps keep distance between the glass and paper.

Well, my new set of lithographs came in. The bad news is that all four have large vertical creases down them. I already replied to the first support ticket I made. The tube size was perfect, but the lack of the outer box this time caused the tube to be partially crushed. I may be able to save them by somehow keeping them very flat for a while, but I'm not positive.
