I'm a Tali fan, but I don't want to see her face.

I would like some more romance talk from Shepard though.
"Your eyes are like the stars?"
We're talkin to Tali here, Captain. Charm that girl all the way to the migrant fleet, dammit.

NO....Tali is a Quarian character. Duh.smudboy wrote...

I honestly do not care one bit about "mystery". Probably, they just look like space elves. If it makes sense for us to see their faces at some point, then so be it. If Shepard has a romance with Tali without it ever showing her face over the course of two games, it's a bit odd...

I think they look like future Draenei from WoW

Any Tali fan who gets upset over seeing her face has very shallow reasons for being a fan of hers. The mystery stuff has already gone too far for me in this game, when they completely bludgeoned me over the head with her "mystery" in her romance scene.
If the opportunity comes up, show it, but they shouldn't hold back for fear of backlash and/or a running gag.
Casey Hudson already admitted that they know what she looks like... like it or not, she's got a face and imagination is simply ignorance. Pro-reveal!
Imagination isn't ignorance. It's imagination that creates and drives a lot of stories to begin with. At no point in the game did Bioware bludgeon us over the head with "the mystery of Tali's face". That's simply your own curiosity creating a scenario that doesn't exist. When they didn't show us Tali's face in the sex scene, I thought it was a funny bit. Nothing more, nothing less. It wasn't a plot point or a major factor in the Tali/Shep romance. She only mentions that she's never shown her face to anyone, which was Bioware's way of letting us know how important being intimate was for her, i.e., she's the exact opposite of Jack (and possibly Miranda).
You say the mystery stuff has gone on too far for you in mE2, and to that I say that was simply your personal feelings influencing your playing experience. For the people who didn't romance Tali, her face, or what she looks like, was never an issue. Tali's face is not connected to the main plot. It's not intergral to her character. It has no bearing on the game's story or even her interactions with Shep.
Not knowing what Tali looks like isn't what makes her popular (it's the way she's written and performed), but it does add to the mystery around the character. That can't be argued.

Is it from the novel (canon) or from wild rumours that Quarians do not have ears persay. As in they don't have the whole cartilage and fleshy earlobe structures? Because if they do... they can't be space elves! (Which I hope they won't. Let them have no ears! Say no to Space Elves)
I believe its from a novel.

First of all, I didn't say "bludgeon us", I said me. You said it was a funny bit and I saw it that way too... where it was an otherwise touching moment. Which totally took me out of it.
Second, ignorance is the "lack of knowledge". So how does my statement not hold true? You're imagining what she looks like, but it's just a simple case of ignorance. It's not intended as an insult. Bioware has a canon face for her and anything we "imagine" is false. It's not a matter of opinion here, it's a fact. So their choice of hiding it doesn't seem to be a case of "leaving it to the player's imagination" they're just keeping up their gag.
As to the rest of your argument... irrelevant justification to prevent those of us who want to see what she looks like from doing so. There's plenty of things in the game that doesn't involve the "main plot" but they're in there anyway. And if Tali's face is so minor to the whole of the game... I don't see what the problem is in revealing it then. Other than your own "personal feelings and experience". Which is why I'm all for the option of not seeing her if you don't want to.
Now excuse me because my "quoting fingers" are more sore than the Turian Councillor.

First of all, Bioware created the character, it is not up to us to decide what she looks like. Imagination is not a substitute, it is a guess.
As for liking not seeing her face... I really don't understand that sentiment. It seems like people are attached to this vague idea of her being "mysterious", as if that was a desirable quality in and of itself. But mystery is an attractor that plays on curiosity, not a substantive personality trait. It is what you have when you don't know very much about the person in question. Not being able to see her face doesn't automatically make her mysterious anyway -- Tali is, in fact, far from mysterious. Her and her people are extremely social and open, and she admits her deepest personal issues to him. Even if this were not the case, Tali's relationship with Shepard has progressed far beyond that. I mean, if you married a women who wore the veil, would you tell her to keep it on afterward so that you could pretend that she looked like whatever you wanted?
The whole "keep the mystery" idea seems preposterous, and not grounded on anything resembling a substantive reason -- only the superficial veneer of an idea that someone who is faceless is automatically mysterious. Show Tali's face!

I don't agree that ignorance equates to a lack of knowledge. I've met many people who are knowledgable about a subject but remain ignorant about it in many ways. As for your statement that I imagine what Tali looks like, now that is a prime example of a lack of knowledge because I have never done so. Bioware may have a canon face for her, as I'm sure they have an extensive bio for Jacob and Miranda, but they also didn't reveal every single detail about them in the game. There's an old literature saying - if an author doesn't provide information about a character in the story, it doesn't exists. It's that simple.
As for the rest of your post...you argue that you want to see what she looks like. Fine, but if Bioware chooses not to, my argument is that you haven't been cheated out of anything just because you didn't get what you desire. Bioware doesn't have to reveal Tali's face and doesn't owe it to any of Tali's fans either. Whether you want to admit it or not, part of the characters mystic is that we don't know what she looks like. That cannot be denied.

Based on what we've seen of the Volus, we know a lot about them and how they operate, but they still remain a mystery as to how they look. Does it make them attractive? Not to me; but the idea of what they look like is an intriguing one. I bet if they made it so that you could recruit a Volus in ME3 and the character became popular, every Volus fan would be screaming to show what a Volus looks like.
