What determines a Paragon or Renegade Interrupt?

One example would be like Veetor and many others I was pretty sure I only saw a paragon interrupt (or renegade for that matter). Some of those that you speak to really deserved it in their face...My shepard's a hero, not a saint. He has a temper too =P!!!

As stated above, the interrupts are just built into the game. Sometimes they go too fast to catch, though. With Veetor, I believe the Renegade interrupt comes after, so maybe you missed it. It's definitely there, though.
In Veetor's case if you ask if he's alright you get the paragon interrupt option, if you tell him to snap out of it you get the renegade one. That may be a one-off deal to introduce people to the interrupt system though, I don't think I've seen conversation choices determine it like that elsewhere.
There are certainly plenty of occasions when you get both though. For instance, when you meet Mordin if you don't use the renegade interrupt on his stream of conciousness, you get the option of a paragon interrupt immediately after.

This is actually true...I did see it before where I skipped one of the renegade interrupt and the next sec the paragon one comes up. But I kinda forgot where I saw it...and it doesn't happen that often. But for Veetor's case, when I was a jerk, the renegade one came first, no paragon before or after.
Also, most of the interrupts are fixed. I went back to the Miranda Loyalty mission which spark my curiosity in this, and yah, only the renegade interrupt is avaliable no matter what response i choose.

Right. That makes sense.
