all this tali obsessions people have, I've begun to enjoy killing her in every playthrough now. I send her through the ducts each time and choose mordin as the squad leader

I sent her through the ducts on my first playthrough without loyalty.
Her interactions with Legion pretty much sealed the deal for me.

You can kill her sooner
In the 2nd mission, when you go to investigate the mission colonist, you meet the Quarians, after you kill the heavy mech, get the heavy ammo in next building, then run across to other building where she is & use the Gernade launcher, 2-3 shots up close, She'll die.
She wont be there for Veetor!
