I noticed that! Glad to know I'm not crazy. I was on a early non-Romantic dialog (or so I thought, damn you Bioware and your romance triggers), and I picked the middle (neutral) option, and I could swear I was still flirting with the guy.

I never talked to Jacob again outside of loyalty quest and upgrades. now on my second playthrough I skip talking to him all together other then the upgrade and loyalty yet again.  It's to the point that I resent his presence when new crew member's join and I wish he would just shut up and sit in the armory where I only have to set foot twice during the entire game.

LMAO at you guys! Of course she got over Kaiden fast. There's no comparison. Plain white bread can't compete with the taste of wheat or rye. Don't hate. None of the relationships in Mass Effect 1 or 2 were anything more than booty calls. If you thought otherwise it was wishful thinking.

Yeah, all the other romances have a gradual build up, even the pouncing Tali. Except FemShep and Jacob, they go at it like the start of a Porn flick. Atleast the others you get a chance to meet your ME1 LI before getting cozy (man are ME2 LI being used as rebounds?), Except Jacob, you get him to skirm and the Chikabowwow effect right out of your first mission on Omega. If only Kaiden knew what she really was like....

There is a string of dialogue that's just 'professional' but its a sod to know which is which. most of the paragon options result in Shepard coming onto him like a 40 year-old skanky bar fly. I half hear Simon and Garfunkle every time she opens her mouth.
