Galen (Circle Mage: Arcane Warrior/Spirit Healer): smooth-talking do-gooder, idealistic, optimistic, pro-Circle, believes in the Maker but no zealot, usually tries to find the middle path

Damien (Human Noble: Templar/Reaver): chivalrous, knightly, somewhat jaded, unforgivingly anti-magic, believes in the Maker... not too sure about Andraste, usually takes the anti-magic path (unless it gets in the way of fighting the Blight)

Varrian (City Elf: Duelist/Ranger): dashing rogue type, smooth, dazzling, carefree attitude with a soft spot for the dalish and no love for the Chantry or any religion, usually tries to benefit himself.. .and others if applicable

Ithilion (Dalish Mage: Shapeshifter/Spirit Healer): nice, caring, tree-hugging, no patience for the Chantry, believes in the Elven Gods, usually tries to benefit everyone, if that fails.. himself

Ferion (Dwarf Commoner: Berserker/Reaver): self-serving bastard with no love for anyone except maybe his sister, wants to end the Blight only because it gets in the way of his plans... and may get him a paragon-ship

Cernu (Dwarf Noble: Berserker/Champion): a proper noble, a true paragon of nobility, always doing what is best for Orzammar, chivalrous but indifferent to Human or Elven beliefs, ultimately practical, even if it goes against his personal preferences

My Dalish is totally incapable of sarcasm or rudeness (it's just not the Dalish way) and finds humans interesting. She tries to go along with their customs and always tries to do the right thing, but has no interest in politics. She puts the Wardens above all else, because of their noble cause.

My mage is "What's in it for me?". Not evil, but definitely not nice. Anti-chantry, and normally chooses the mean/ sarcastic options (This fat cow is your lover?). Is also an elf, and not feeling the warm fuzzies towards humans. Wouldn't want to rule, but would love to be the puppeteer.

My human noble- raised as a loyal Chantry-goer, she is nice out of a sense of noblesse oblige. She can be a little fake, a little bratty, but her heart in the right place, for the most part. I don't see her and certain other noblewomen getting along...

Etariel (Elf mage) nice to everyone, always tried to talk through problems

Aredhel (Dalish Rogue) a bit moody, but mostly nice

Tehzren (Elf mage) blood mage, kills easily, hates humans, utterly ruthless

Nyx (Dalish rogue) doesn't trust humans or their Maker, quiet, thoughtful, ruthless if needed

Orome (City Elf rogue) thinks before he speaks, generally nice to everyone

Elwe (Dalish rogue) b*tch, short fuse explosive temper

Goodie-two-shoes, slightly paranoid after the human noble intro and general trend of betrayal the first half hour of the game...

Silver tongued paladin-like, prefers to talk rather than to fight, prefers to capture enemies instead of killing them.
Will never let anyone escape: They will surrender and face judgment, or die.
His life's story makes assassins lives absolutely worthless: assassins will get no quarters.
Except cute innocent elven smoochie-goochie lom-lom ones that look too young to die, like Zhevran.
He could NOT bring himself to kill that pitiful elf, but he will give him a royal spanking once Zhevran becomes old enough to taste the belt. :pinched:

...
He reminds me of Billy the Kid from the Lucky Lucke comic :bandit:

Arthur Cousland is a templar/champion who enjoys being in the middle of combat, where the action is.  He also likes to be there for his friends and family, whether they just need someone to talk to or protection from bandits/assassins.

My human noble warrior, Ophelia, is generaly nice but is very cautious. That's out off the battle. In battle she goes berserk, won't stop fighting until everything is dead no matter how injured she is.

She also can be sarcastic, and arrogant at times. Dislikes (NOT hates) the Chantry. She can't stand betrayal and will put you 6ft under for it.

-Male Human Noble Warrior-

In the beginning, I was a nice and caring person. I took the time to help people, and always gave people a second chance. About halfway through the game, I started to get jaded with things, and it hardened me. At the end, I had no problems sacrificing people for the greater good.

My Dalish Ranger is tempremental with a burning hatred for humans. She is very religious, and a devout follower of the Goddess Andruil, so she comes into conflict with the Chantry quite often. While she wouldn't hesitate to kill a human for breathing, she's slightly more sympathetic to other elves, and very devoted to the Dalish people as a whole. She abhorrs slavery because of the elven subjugation.

My main is Astrid, my human noble rogue. She's kind and understanding, but often brings out that saucy, sarcastic side that may not be too appropriate to show off in front of the other blue bloods. :-p Very self-confident and self-reliant; she's often found in the middle of a fight, or trying to stir something up. But, in the end, she always tries to handle problems in a fair and just manner. Pretty much a 'Honor before glory' kind of girl. ^_^

Male Dalish Elf Rogue

Theron is more of a tactician than a swashbuckler/informant type. He's cautious at times to a fault, but is eager to aid Ferelden and proud to be a Warden.

Human Arcane Mage. Reserved, Honorable, Stoic, Tactful, Pro-Maker/Andrastae. He's pretty much the ideal Commander/Person. Very smooth with the ladies though, so a bit roguish in that area.

City Elf Rogue: Sadist, opportunist, thieving bastard with a soft heart for the underdog and a slight tendency to moral obligations. Not to happy to be a warden but making the best of a bad situation. Dislikes the Chantry.

City Elf Rogue(F): Progressively cold and calculating; starting off as rather warm if not lightly endearing at the thought of leaving the Alienage. She possesses a harsh analytical perspective that, in the inevitable extreme, gets more than a few people harmed in the process of seeking out the lesser of two evils or time-efficient means of solving the problem. Her view on the Wardens is an opportunistic one, using it as a catalyst for control. For the most part, she doesn't acknowledge this.

Dwarf Commoner Warrior(M): An overzealous fool; starting off stoic as a rock (which is understandable, based on previous living conditions) but doesn't hesitate to cease his moment in the spot-light to impress the Wardens, of whom he reveres highly for their skills in battle (as well as their tendency to not hurt his feelings with sticks, stones, and nugs - of which he has an allergy). His methods of dealing with your average Grey Warden situation are generally the most simplistic, or the ones that yield the highest form of honor. Respect is his currency.

Human Mage(M): Self-deprecating, but possessive of a highly adaptable persona that cannot be easily persuaded or taken advantage of. Blunt modesty combined with sheer willpower is his weapon. He does not seek fame or fortune, but rather enjoys the little things, which most likely stems from the lack of such miniscule luxuries while held within the Circle Tower. Has a fondness for Health Potions. Yum.
