Yeah and the next one should be the Hammerhead, right? I'm guessing it can take months for Kasumi to be released (if she's released), depending on how well other dlc are doing and what priorities Bioware have (maybe they have something else planned before?).

So if there are residual bits of code that allow you to throw in Kasumi with a bit of tinkering, then surely it follows that at some point, Kasumi was going to be included in the retail edition of the game. It'll be incredibly tedious if Kasumi is eventually added via paid for DLC. Hopefully it'll just be a free addition via the Cerberus Network..

Not at all. They had to integrate her to the end-mission part of the game to minimize the chances of breaking everything later, when they actually finish the character. VOs are done pretty early, AFAIK, and characters have to be written before that, obviously. But things like recruitment/loyalty missions, there is nothing that points that to those being cut from the game - and as people have completely failed to get her to work on any level before the final mission, the evidence available in fact points to the other direction.

Just prudent planning, evading any Ostagar style mishaps of connected subsystems breaking through DLC.

This^. and there is the possibility this is a well crafted fake. She sound's nothing like the sound files (at least to me).

it's not a fake, as I said in page 1 these sound files are already in their respective afc containers waiting to be linked to <something> the model is fake yes, that's not her

Well, I'm loving how everyone is able to find the details of this character within the code. Considering I was accused of leaking a fake list with what some called a 'stupid asian name' in the first place....

and kasumi translates into mist in japanese, so what part of it is stupid?  It fits kasumi's personality as a whole. 


Oh yeah and I did see your thread, many people accused you of photoshoping and some did pull out a race card or went allout worse, very stupid...  but glad to see they've been served in the face!

  yeah I love when my heritage is well known, but weeabos are so annoying!  Same goes for prejudice people, yeah you can hit on the weeabos, who's to say I never? But quit thinking anything asian in general is considered weeaboistic, lol, weeaboistic...  new word!

but seriously, it's very prejudice, that kind of people goes nowhere, it's why I hate it when another wrpg vs jrpg thread comes in, it's not that everybody's hitting on our rpg's, infact, I even think square needs to find a new innovation, I found it funny with the square rep dropping the ball, but do you know how many people dropped the racist bomb in that thread?

I can name many stereotypes for westerners and such, do I choose to?  No, not really, because most are considered jokes but will upset a lot of people here, the fail part is that some people think "joke" stereotype is an actual culture, really?  Do you fail so much like that?

A real clean forum wouldn't have flame wars every now and then, people pulling the racial cards at each other, numerous trolls, threads that go nowhere and is , really, a dormant trap, and even people who arn't essentially trolls are accused of being trolls for their opinions!(yeah some are obvious from the start, obvious troll is obvious, but really you have a guy asking for multiplayer and he's called a troll, seriously...)

Honestly, I thought at first the name was either a joke or a placeholder. I really dislike anime, and the characters name seemed like something from an anime movie. Yes, I am aware the name is Japanese. However, the folks posting images of high-school looking girls with big swords giggling doesn't help. That being said, this company has earned the benefit of the doubt, I will trust they can create a nice new companion

The confirmation was there the day ME2 was released. Kasumi files are in the basic instalation, DLC will only unlock the sealed off data.

theres nothing wrong with kasumi or the name...   lol, Im finding it hilarious all you can think of when kasumi is mentioned is anime.  Real blind outlook, no offense
