Anyway ,i can't see how they can fixed it because the problem is already in the save file so a patch couldn't choose what option is the one to keep.

Are you sure it's in the special ME1 save file you import from?  'Cause if the error occurs during import, then yeah: they can patch it.  Almost certainly you'd have to start a new career to get the benefits of it, but that's still a fix.

I don't know. The editor just opens the save files of ME2 but an error in the original file sounds more plausible than an error in the import process (wich should be just reading a file).

I'd like to see this fixed as a "memory" choice in the beginning of the game. Just tack it on the end, so after they ask about the council and other "big" things, they start going into smaller details. That way, people who don't care don't have to do it, and people who do can fix their flags. Maybe even have it only pop up if both flags are set in a fresh import.

Bit of a stretch though, Cerberus keeping track of how you deal with your fans?

Enh, it could work.  Recall that Miranda had two years to research your life story, and Conrad was known for sitting around in public in the same place for who knows how long.  Maybe that Volus vendor's security cam recorded you talking to him. Or, he could have had some Shepard Tribute site on the Extranet or whatever.  I.e., there're plenty of ways for his story to come across Miranda's desk.   Plus, a  fairly obscure question about something/one seemingly unimportant would be a good final test of memory after the big, highly memorable ones had been covered.

That said: never gonna happen.  They'd have to record new dialogue for Shep, and either Miranda or Jacob (Miranda would make more sense there, as she was the one who wanted to keep pestering Shep).  Sure, it's just a line or two, but all the effort of scheduling and whatnot for a couple lines in order to provide a fix for something which is actually very minor just ain't worth Bioware's time or money.

Just randomly noticed the Post, and in completely caught me off guard since I didn't think anyone even cared about this as much as I did on my First playthrough. Yeah, the +5 Renegade points was something I found kind of odd when I Imported my Perfect Paragon Shep, but I let it go since I thought that maybe it BW giving you a Bone to help you play a Renegade game for ME2 if you so chose. However, everything was fine Until the Conrad Verner meet up on Illum. When he mentioned putting the Gun in his face, I was like, "Wha?!" Since I knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I had gone with the, "Go home and help keep humanity strong," Paragon Line. It irked me, and I figured it was an Import glitch.

I know that for your non-import game, Conrad says the same thing, so it looks like that was supposed to be Shep's default reaction to Conrad in the First game. Anyway, I let it go since in ME2 you can still follow the Paragon stance and tell him that he helped you take down a Terrorist. He goes home Happy...until we see him Again in ME3. Anyway, it's nice to see that someone other than me noticed this and that they found a fix for PC. I'm sure the Import glitch is an easy fix for Bioware, but they may have to wait for a major content Update to put it into the game, at least for the 360 version.

The way he said "Really?" after  "Wouldn't have been able to do it with out you, Conrad"  was priceless. So was his Shot in the foot dialogue. Made me lol

Alls I'm saying is that if I Paragon him the first 2 games, he leads a squad of Alliance soldiers to help me out on a mission, OR I get to fight with him and the Rachni or something :P who says Conrad can't get training between ME2 and 3? (if he was a squaddie that'd just be weird).

Because actions have consequences, even if you try to patch them up.

Just like cheating with your LI in ME2, and then dumping them...still cheating, still has consequences.  Shoving a gun in someone's face, well, they're going to remember that, and let's say he ever gets in a position to help you, he's going to be like, hey remember that time you basically told me to F off? Well, you can go do the same now!

Now that ME2 has received it's first patch, and no mention of the errors, time to revive this thread.

Maybe it's because no one really cares or because we discovered that the issue is players who chose both a renegade and paragon responce to Conrad in the first game recieved a double flag and the resulting scenario was intentional.

Maybe there is no reason to keep bumping your thread that really only you and 3 other people seem that conserned about.
