The voice reminds me of Liara in ME1. Soft spoken, not much feeling with it, casual, calm. Not that it's bad, it just doesn't catch my attention very well. Zaeed is my favorite squadmate (not gameplay, but character) and I hope Kasumi is also a good character.

what i'm most interested in is if she comes with a loyalty mission.



a new tech expert is great for the last bit, but of course the problem is if you've already completed the game and survived with everyone intact it pretty much kills off the point of having additional choices to make. but new loyalty missions? yes please.

oh I think it's safe to assume there has to be a loyalty mission with her. now an actual recruitment mission on the other hand is unknown. It may have worked for Zaeed, being a Merc and all, but Kasumi seems like the robin hood type in a way " hearing some of her convos" so Im hoping we have to bail her out of a situation or some such.

I've thought that might be possible for a while now.  I honestly don't feel it should take this long to introduce her if she is being done in the same style as Zaeed.  So either they are just building suspense by holding her back, changing her up a LOT or they are adding something on like a romance sub-plot so people won't complain she is "boring" like Zaeed.

Honestly, I hope she isn't a LI.  We have too many as it is...

if they are working on both hammerhead and kasumi I can understand why it takes a while to bring it out but I'm hoping she has an actual recruit mission and more dialogue on the ship then what zaeed has ( which is basically none he has a few lines you can click on him to cycle through etc )

For the last time Zaeed has a LOT of dialogue just not dialogue trees. Visit him everytime you are on the ship and see what he has to say. And take him with you on missions. Ignorant people...

he has a fair few in mission comments which I enjoy and he has war stories littered around his "room"

And he'll talk about each of the squad mates too and certain events throughout the game whilst in his area of the ship.

Day 1 DLC that's free for people who bought the game new but costs 10 dollah for secondhand game buyers/pirates.

Then explain Terminus Armor and the Blackstorm heavy weapon.

I know the Cerberus network is used as a deterent for used game sales and piracy, but if they were really trying to "bone" GameStop, why would they give them an exclusive preorder bonus?

I think they were purely referring to how gamestop have 2nd hand copies people can get. Those copies won't be able to get the free stuff for free.

Kasumi sounds like she's voiced by Maggie Baird (Samara).

Voices are prob done in early plus it makes sense to link any and all characters to the present material to avoid future problems, given the lack of artwork or any other files that governs her, she was prob planned as far as name to paper with some sketchy background and that's about it

So does she just randomly pop up just before you go through the Omega 4 Relay and say "Hey let me join you on this suicide mission even though you have no reason to trust me at all."

I like that... at least she won't be calling me 'Skipper' or saluting every five minutes like some crewmembers past and present tend to.

I think it just means that without the DLC she won't work before then it's interesting they didn't show any footage of her actually in the party.  Just doing things in the suicide mission.  I bet her skills/powers and stuff are not even implemented.

The model definitely looks like a placeholder.
