Any tips on beating Branka? My char is a rogue and I have Morrigan, Oghren and Shale with me (morri is healer) but I have no potions to speak of and I have no idea how I'm supposed to fendoff 4 golems and a boss.

Sounds like pretty much exactly what happened to me...I had to drop the difficulty to easy for that fight..I had blown through healing pots and the such on my way there only to get there...and have nothing to fight them with.

This one is a rough one, but doable. Fortunately, you should also have two golems on your side, giving you a bit more muscle. I abused the hell out of Morrigan's Cone of Cold, which almost always freezes the Golems and Branka in their tracks, then had Oghren, Sten, and my rogue beat up on the frozen golems. Once those golems are out of the way, it gets a bit tricky: when Branka starts getting low on health, she books it to the Mana shards (Lyrium? Something like that) and does... something. I guess depending on which shard she activates it does different things: one shard made duplicates of her and another caused a cave in. Again, abuse Cone of Cold, and use the shards to replenish Morrigan's mana (plus, I think it disallows Branka to utilize that shard).
Not having potions makes things a bit difficult, though. If you have any of the materials available, have Morrigan whip up a few of them, to give your fighters a bit of a safety net.

I had a lot of difficulty beating her. The first time I got close to kill her, she did that trick duplicating her and I lost. So one tip is to spend stamina/mana, then run to replenish it. Drain them all so she can't later use them herself. Do that preferably with morrigan when she is waiting for all spells to be ready.
Only attack the golems first. Freeze them as much as you can. One at a time; the one with least health everytime. Attacking one that was damaged by a golem on your side instead of attacking a fresh one can make the difference.
If branka closes up with one of your guys, you may try to escape. If she does, it's in your advange to move around killing time while the rest of your party kills the golems.
Once the golems are gone, don't attempt any tricks on branka: nothing like stunning, bashing, fear, sleep. It never worked for me. So don't waste your stamina/mana for those special attacks.
Now, MOST OF ALL, (altough I just downloaded it and haven't tryed it) there is a new patch available (My Games > Games Patches) making the easy difficulty even easier. That should obviously help as well.
(For anyone else) When only branka is left, you may want to switch for a weapon that will deal a lot of damage, such as a two-handed weapon or with good armor penetration since she got a lot of armor and your attacks won't do a lot of damage to her.

Best tricks for me:
* Keep Branka immobilised if you can - Force Field, the spell combo with the runes, whatever you can.
* Get a magical damage spell buff on your melee fighters. Golems are weak to magic, as that form in the Fade teaches.
* Focus fire the 'lieutenant' golems (yellow names) first, then the whites, then Branka.
* Use whatever caster you have to burn all the lyrium veins before engaging Branka directly. This means it's just tank and spank.
It took me a lot of goes, I admit, but I was able to get it where I had both NPC golems helping me and I kept my mage and Wynne topped with the lyrium (and was helped with the dead golems giving me some healing salves, too... loot the corpses mid-fight, trust me!) and it meant I had healing and such for my meleers (Oghren and Illiana) who whittled Branka down.
It was a right pain, but it worked.

just use the 2 aoe threat building skills with shale to get everyone to attack her, once at low hp hit force field get everyone back and aoe the life out of them...also have someone run around using the lyrium veins so branka cant, you can mostly ignore the other golems and concentrate on branka

My group;
Shale
Main Character (Mage)
Morrigan
Oghren
1. I destroyed the two elite Stone Golems with a mixture of cone of cold (both my casters) and got lucky with a shatter from the killing blow with Shale (Pulverizing Blows).
2. Switched Shale to Stoneheart to taunt Braka and get her was far away from the lyrium as possible.
3. Let Oghren finish off the two normal Stone Golems.
4. Let Morrigan continue to Cone of Cold and Winter's Grasp on her to disable and immobolize her as you take your main character (or Morrigan /vice versa if you're melee) to absorb all the Lithium before she gets to half.
5. Tank and spank.
*I had no potions either so I saved 3 veins in the back right near the Anvil path to use with Morrigan when Shale needed healing. She ended up getting one illusion thing off when I thought the fight was finished, its not too bad if you Mind Blast and just focus fire her.

This fight is probably the hardest non dragon fight in the game. Best bet is to take out the adds and keep branka crowd controlled. (Have Morrigan use the lirium veins in the room there are a LOT, this will most likely win the game for you if u keep her at full mana)
Also try to focus fire with the NPCs that help you in that fight, you will be able to take out adds a lot faster that way. Once the golems are down Branka is easy tank and spank (She does hits hard though)

They are probably using the grossly overpowered arcane warrior, along with clever placement of traps, etc.
