I figure the best route for the main quests: Circle Tower, Redcliffe, Denerim (to get the side-quests), Brecilian, Sacred Ashes then the Deep Roads.
One of the reason I did the Circle Tower first is to get the Fade section over and done with asap. Heh

well..maybe a day I will decide to connect my PC where I have installed all my games to the network and then upload my characters... You know.. I use a PC just to play, with no Antivirus, firewall, etc and then I connect it to the network just for few times in order to download DLCs or similar..
Here is the reason why I still have this ****** avatar...
No antivirus? "Blinks" there is a fre home version called Avast that works really well. they won tons of awards and it does not kill your computer. It runs quietly and with out all the massive processing all the time..

hmmm ... My warriors usually don't do that much damage... Perfect Striking helps but you need most of your stamina for other things. If you go tank then its the rest of the teams job to do dmg, you're just there to make sure they're not hindered at their damage dealing duties.MarkyBoy147 wrote...
is shield/sword a viable dps build, i dont care if its perfect jsut as long as its not hopeless.

:DSo I'm a junior here. Only completed 2 playthrough so far. If I had spent less time creating characters and more playing, I could have done 5 by now (had almost 2 dozen characters and none of them got past Ostagar LoL). Got the game mid January.

Its one of my favorite scenes in the whole game, the bickering amongst Flemeth and Morrigan is great!
Yes, My tanks run around with Shield Wall and Threaten constantly on...shedevil3001 wrote...
do you activate sheild wall lion coz it stop you from losing health as long as no mage hits you with magic
I also go for high dexterity so my character doesn't get hit that often by melee.

My Dalish Rogue Archer just lit the beacon and woke up in Flemeth's hut while Morrigan was browsing the books... *a heavenly way to wake up*

I hate that you can not persuade Flemeth into telling you anything!! She is a tough cookie!
She was also one of the toughest bosses..... "EEEP!

I'm a bit of a sucker for this game. Ive started around 10 characters, but only completed arround 6 playthroughs.VittoriaLandis wrote...
I've played two, after I complete this rogue I'll do my third
Trouble is I start playing as one character class, but keep getting drawn back to the Mage class, they're ridiculously powerful!
Magi FTW!

rogue archer, its looking like for num ber 9, which is bad news for Owen
Rogue/Archer/Ranger is a nifty combo.. Ranger is a bit nerfed. but useful none the less. It does give you a nice fodder and a 5th attacker

hehe true, but luckily we get to slay her later on just to show her who's boss!Liso66 wrote...

I don't trust Flemeth very much (if you've ever followed any of the Morrigan/Flemeth or Dark Ritual threads you've probably seen that), she never answers anything except with more questions.
She's easy!Liso66 wrote...

Ser Cauthrien, now thats a heavy boss hehe!

Indeed
the thing is.. I have learned being an RPG fan for so many years. Not everything is at it seems....... An example is Morrigan.. I think it is possible she is not as she seems.. I do not believe she is truly evil... I think there is WAY more to learn from that later..

Ser Cauthrien is insane hard at Howe's.. However. stand down and have a blast with the crazy prison break..... You get a chance at her again at the Landsmeet. She is not nearly as bad there. Also.. missing out on the fun prison break is just shameful! it was funny!
