Aye, I read it, but it still seems like it's 'your to busy for it' line, while the new classes look interesting, nothing in it has removed my fears that this expansion is largely a hack n' slash dungeon crawler style game, I'm hoping for some further insights into Awakenings by the end of Feb.

if they kill the romance they kill the game for me so i wont be waisting my money on anymore of a game that lacks things that got me into it in the first place

Well Ferret only speaks about Expansions, I read his words as more or less stating that its not impossible that we will see our romances continue in DA2.

i wont hold my breath lion they are full of empty promises and crap in my opinion so much for choices and consequences they went right out the window with all the rest of the dlc

Well. in Mass Effect, they are picking back up in 3 so rumor has it.. So....... this could be the same scenario.. Do not stress until you have a reason. Well. don't stress regardless. We all move on to the to the next latest and greatest all the time... DA:O and character attachment is huge... I don't believe they will drop it.

BTW, Bioware is correct in one thing.. Even in NWN1 they never had follow up in their expansions.. There was a cameo from Aribeth in HoTU and you even got to have her in your party for a bit. but that is WAY after the OC

i can always wait til dreamfall chapter comes out and play that instead but that doesnt stop me from wanting to slap bioware and ea across the face for ruining my gameplay

Awakenings has lost some of the edge it had initially when it was all a big question mark. But don't be foolish and they they don't have their PR team getting ready to drop some bombs and get all you guys "reconsidering" back to being hyped, or at least, more likely to buy.

Well unless the romances still being there part is just a bone they toss us to make us shutup, it could be a good sign. I've said it before it would make sense for them not have any romances in expansions because people will want to see those romances return in DA2 as well and for the old romances, well people might not play the expansion and would miss the developments.
Lets just say I'm still hopeful for DA2... If Bioware can count they should have figured out by now that a large percentage of the DAO players want their old romances back and if I look at the number of posts stating they've already cancelled their Awakening pre-order I'm not sure they can really afford not to let them return... They made some romances return for ME2 (which I did not play but heard about) and they plan on making even more return for ME3, so its unthinkable they will do the same for DA2...

Though you could romance Aribeth (or her ghost anyhow ) if you were so inclined (I always liked Nathyrra more

Always wondered why they cameo'ed her in that one... Wonder if it was the pressure from the community, think Aribeth was the community favorite and they killed her off at the ending of NWN1.

But he was wrong in one thing... it seems he just forget something called BG2 + TOB.. It's a pity that it was a BW game... not only....it was the most loved BW game until they released DAO.. And to pretend to forget the past it's not really nice...
