Best Armor in game with out DLC and not paying every sovern I have! is Wades Superior Leather Armor..  Which btw.. make sure you all get the drake scale and dragon bone..... cuz DLC items will be gone!

I never got really any cool armor from the DLCs, or period, except for Cailan's & the dragon armor stuff. I've played this game so many times an I've still not had any cool armor! Nor did I know half the things you could do on here.

The most tedious part of the game imho are some side quests that force you to travel backwards and forwards from the world just to do 1 single thing.. i.e. Some Blackstone's quests... where you have to give letters to someone and you have to come back to some cities you have already visited and where you have already finished your main quests in order to do that...

Another example... Do you remember the female dwarf who wants to became a mage? Well... you have to come back to the Circle just to ask Irving if he will accept her as a student.. and after that you have to come back again to Orzammar just to tell her she may go to the tower...

I hate this quests which are made just to lenghten the hours of gameplay...

"laughs"  well.. it is just a hop over the overland map.. i get what your saying though. back tracking is a game designers trick to drag things out. We'll not see that end any time soon. As for most of the side quest though. it is nice youb just happen to run into several of them....

Indeed... Even if i finished the game using the Grey Warden Commander Armor i found in Warden's keep because I like it so much !!

Oh yeah.. I do have one male and one female Dwarf.. I am not a huge fan of the dwarf thing though. I also have issues with believing Alistair would er,..... well you know...... hahaha Or any of my companions for that matter. Eh.. I'm a character snob..

My Rogue is sharpening his daggers for Awakening.

I also have 2 unfinished saves with a mage and a warrior that I plan on using for the EP. All on nightmare.


-My male HN DW Warrior is currently level 15. Two main treaties remaining and then I'm off to the Landsmeet. Planning on recruiting Loghain and feeding him to the Archdemon. Romancing Leliana.

-My other character is a female mage(I can never play a male mage lol). Level 14 specialized in BM/AW. Kinda boring because it's ridiculously overpowered. Still, I want to try all the classes in Awakenign so I'm gonna finish it sometime. Haven't decided on the ending yet.

Actually!!! if you pay attention to what Alistair is intrigued by.. you
would know he has a major fascination with mages, magic and statues..

I bow to those who play on nightmare... I can not deal with the stress in my games.. Normal is my limit!

I always rather like those silly small quests, usually have to go back to Redcliffe pretty later anyways for Stens sword so I just wait until I have a nice collection...  

The dagna quest is a lot faster if you just eradicate the circle, when you tell her the circle is no more she just tells you that she'll go there anyways...

You serious? I love warriors!  Especially tanks, then again that might have been because when I used to play World of Warcraft I was always bumped to tank and somehow just started liking it!  hehe

Neither have I ... I don't really mind a challenge usually but in this game the fighting is there for me to add to the story. And since my character is supposed to have some uber elite skills, I just consider he has to be able to deal with everything he encounters rather easy!
