I have an OT question. I never really understood how to intentionally save the mages in the circle tower. I've done it twice, but didn't mean to.

Yes the scroll of lythnia its a spell and if I remember right Wynne tells you when to cast it.

I've beaten Gaxkang earlier but he was annoyning as hell because I could't land a hit on him. He couldn't touch me either and the battle was wwaaayyy too long. I decided to use my party in that one to finish him quickly(?)  I wasn't patient reloading such a long battle to get his shield(it drops randomly you have to reload to get it).

Watch out High Dragon... I'm coming for you

Yeah Gaxkang is an annoying battle and I have the feeling its sometimes slightly bugged... Been fighting him once (with party) for 30 mins and his health bar seemed to be stuck, loaded the game and started anew with him and he went down in 10 mins...

Rofl.. I just got owned by the High Dragon.... It was my mistake though. I let my mana pool get too low and once my Shimering Shield got deactivated I was at a disadvantage.

Going back later for my revenge

Hi all... how are you? I'm more pissed off now I have seen the new character trailer... Even I was not a huge fan of dwarves I am just thinking to all people who asked for a female dwarf in party... Now they made it.... but.. what a pity... you'll never get her heart...how fun it is!

Prepare yourself to act as Cupido and make her fall in love with Oghren... yes..really really fun..

She seems very interesting and we've already seen more background story for her in the trailer than Oghren ever had in the entire origins game! I'm at least looking forward to her... Also can't wait for the female warrior/templar to be revealed!

And we can't set Oghren up with her, he can't cheat on Felsi!!!

are you still hoping for that femal templar?  Not to disappoint you but I think they have already revealed the femal companions of xpac... Now they will reveal a male warrior and a male rogue... which are the companions we have seen in many scenes of previous trailer

Could be, I haven't payed that much attention to the trailer companions tbh. I just keep reading everywhere that everyone expects a female templar... could make sense if you think about the balance of the party, so far they've released 2 females and 1 male, if we consider 5 party members and oghren ( so 6 possibles ) then we would end up with 2 females and 4 males (that is counting Oghren).

On a lot of screenshots there is also a female in armor visible (with a helmet on) this could however be the PC.

P.S. Wouldn't be dissapointed however if there wouldn't be a female warrior, I'm happy with the characters released so far!

I' d really like to be so enthusiastic like you.. really I'm not joking you...
I really envy how you are thrilled about this game... and I'd like to be impatient, as I was few days before DAO was on sale... but they just killed all of this inside of me...

I was dissapointed at first when I found out that Awakening wouldn't really continue with the original party (I had really hoped to learn more about Morrigan etc), however I'm now just looking forward to more Dragon Age and more story and information...
I will however freak out if DA2 turns out to be a completely different story that has nothing to do with our warden and will not continue our romances (unless they solve the romance and story bit in an expansion before that), because that is mainly what I'm holding on to, that the story will continue and our romances will return eventually.
