Sometimes I wish to be able entering into the game and taking possession of my character...

First, thanks for the warm welcome. I feel fuzzy all over. Must agree with most of the recent posts re: what to see/keep in upcoming adventures. I would like to keep my character's adventure going for a couple of expansion packs at least, if not for another OC, especially any romantic entanglements. I mean, being a Grey Warden, I only have 30 or so years to live - if I'm lucky - and I'd like to be able to spend them with the person (people in the case of companions) of my choice. Some would come and go and new ones would join - such is life, but your main relationships should stay with you as long as you want. Anyway, my 2 sovereigns...

very true i think it's just a case of the devs cant be bothered to write the romantic dialogues or they run out of ideas so thought why bother even though its extremely popular with the people who's money keeps them in buisness but i guess what us little people want means absolutely nowt to them as long as the money keeps coming in :{

Well I started 8 play throughs, and finished 4 of them... only to just find out if you have mods running, your character may not be able to transfer to Awakenings, I hate my life... My life is doomed without my camp storage chest!!! I hate the one used in the DLC at Wardens Keep.

I'm not complaining, mind you, as this is probably the most immersive game I've played. It grabbed me at a visceral level to the point that on my first playthrough Alistair was sacrificed and I was messed-up for days before I was able to get the "happy" ending. So, from a plot and companion interaction standpoint, this game is by far and away light years ahead of its competition. I'd just like to be able to "bask in the glow" with some of the same characters for a while longer.

Hi to you all!

Having spent about several years reading through these entertaining and informative 'pages of randomness' :-) I thought I'd drop in to say 'hi'

To give my own answers to some of the previous topics ....

1) Star sign Aquarius .... hmm, was looking for a good quote from an astrology website and liked 'doesn't conform for the sake of it, loyal friend who will always help when needed, likes problem-solving so might work in computing' etc, etc .... but sadly 'Basically though the Aquarius is a very capable person and can do anything, but only if that is what the Aquarius chooses. They can be just as good at doing nothing at all!!' kinda summed it up better .... *glares at astrology*

2) I live in Stafford, England .... so fairly typical English accent, but I have slider controls to sound more Irish or American as required :-)

3) Gaming History .... 'Pong' .... Atari console .... 'arcades' :-) .... Spectrum (loved Knight Lore/Sabre Wulf) .... Sega Megadrive (I agree with Max about Warriors of the Eternal Sun! plus 'Shining Force') .... and then on to a PC with Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, DDO, etc, etc

4) I am a heterosexual trapped in a man's body .... which has worked out fine, so no plans to try to escape.

5) Consistency of storyline across adventures is important to me, I don't want there to be 'reality gaps' regarding what happened 'in-between', I want continuity of *my* story. Otherwise I'm reminded that it's 'just a computer game' rather than being 'immersed in a real world' which is what really makes a game for me.

hehe yeah I hate not sleeping at all... Happens to me about once every month or every 2 months, usually I just lie there turning until I usually give up at 4 or 5 AM.

Good to hear you're in a good mood!  Promises good things for the thread!

Maybe

I prefer the Felon's Coat for light armor and Juggernaut for massive.. but I might just get it just to tranfer it to the EP

Considering how many light armor wearing companions there are..  i.e Zevran and Leliana.. it is good getting the two sets of drake scale.. unless you killed off Zevran..  "shudders at the thought"
