If you want to play her again in the xpac I would either let someone else sacrifice themselves for her or take the ritual... Importing a dead warden and then being told he never sacrificed himself after all is just too weird for me when there are other options! 
Decision is up to you however!  You could always make multiple endings as well!

lol, wouldn't be suprised if in the next banther Oghren would ask you where her corpse can be found so he can grease the bronto with it!

Yes, that is a great compliment to Bioware. So give me the next latest and greatest, get me attached, just keep them coming and I'll not complain much.

I partly agree, I just hate it that when at the end they make you feel there's more coming and then there's nothing, it would be like at the end of the first Lord of the Ring book, you have Frodo going off in a boat with the ring... the end.
If the next book would be about the elves leaving for their new land it would be silly and it would ruin the story.

I just think if they never planned on continuining then they shouldn't have made a cliffhanger...

hehe sucks doesn't it? I wonder if they had no idea the characters would have impacts like this when they wrote the story... Next time they should have some normal people do playtesting for a few weeks and test their emotional connection before starting to write the next part in the story.

New World Record for Leliana's romance.. Completed it with all dialogues and scenes only after14 hours and 23 minutes of gameplay... Now I may spend the remaining 50 hours by saying her "You are the best thing happened in my life", "Let's go to bed" and hearing her giggle... Soooooo fun !!!

Some minutes ago I read a post of a guy who didn't say a wrong thing...
"We should consider Awakening more an xpac to Dragon Age world than an expansion to our character's history"..
I think he may be right.. It's a pity I am not able to do and think this...

probably not they're probably to disgusted to read up on the forum, mean as they cut all the things that 99% of the gaming fans loved from the expansion and not many are very happy about it, welcome to the gaming industry the let you get attatched to a game and its story and companions then go nope you cant have that any more we'll chop out the good bits and leave you with an average game nice 1 bioware thank you for that. NO REALLY dont make any effor to make us happy or nothing

See you guys are looking at it from the wrong angle, DA is not about your charcater, its about big events of the DA and how your character got through them. Anyway the people we romanced wont even be in this game, unless you wanted to cheat on them.



I am deeply upset about the US stuff, my main PC did the US. I love how bioware if the FAQ played it off like you had a choice if your character came back, but you dont.



you can either:

1) import your dead character like nothing happend and ruin the story



2) play as orlesian but have your characters choices not follow him and ruin the story



not thats not options that forcing us to forget what happend.



they could easily fix this by:



1) letting you import your choices (duh)



2) when you play as the orlesian you answer question on what happend



3) when you import your charcater it explanes how you came back



4) when you import your character the game says " sorry we got lazy, so forget what happend with your person dieing. now instead pick what happend A) dark ritual alistar did it C) logahin did it"

For many of the ladies who like Alistair this is one of the problems... HE IS in the game but you cant do anything romantic with him.

If your character progresses, then romances cannot always be pursued. By the maker, do you guys want your character in dragon age to eventually evolve into him/her sitting down at a table with his family. Or maybe even a swinger going from brother to brother looking for kinky foursomes with pirate captains. Your character is sometimes forced down certain roads to progress the game. I'm pretty sure in the game you can't just drop everything your doing and say f*** the blight or say no to Duncan when he offers you to become a warden. This is similar; it can be seen as the warden became "hardened" after the events of the blight and realizes relationships are fleeting and the task at hand is more important.

I don't know if anyone has read into this, but I noticed that Oghren is wearing the complete Legion of the Dead Armor during that banter he had with Anders in the videos released. I'm kind of hoping this is the scene where you get to reintroduce Oghren into the party. The back story as to why he is wearing that armor would be awesome. But he is probably already in the party, so it's interesting to think why Bioware brought that armor from DA:O and gave it to him or you can find better Legion armor somewhere else.
