this is a long thread.

I'm on my first play through on Pc. The game is a lot more fun like this.

I agree, the circle tower and deep roads are a pain in the ass!

but the armor you get from the Brood mother is nice.

Well at least i can postpone it a little longer.

Also after the events of the Blight, after seeing so much death and destruction, wouldn't your character evolve into more of a "warden" if they were not already. Whether or not you think so, that is more or less what your warden will be in awakening or else you would stay back with your origin roots or as king/queen or whatever you chose. Which come to think of it I would have liked the option for you to have a PC who is still alive, left the wardens to go back home, but the choices get imported still to the new warden from Orlais. I don't think it would have been that much more work to import old PC choices (dead or alive) into the new PC gameplay.

It seems to me, everyone has different views on how the story goes. Which is great really. Roleplaying is all about the individuals take on how things play out. Their own perception of the story.



It is simple. No one is wrong, everyone is right, and we all enjoyed the game for many different reasons. This is why I am not stressing about the future of DA or what my pc is doing after the previous ending..

All comments I have been made regarding wardens pertains to "Blight" wardens. I'm actually surprised no one has brought up the incident at Warden's Peak as a counter-argument to what a warden's "duty" is. And to the discussion on wardens settling down and having families, I would like to end it with a joke. We don't know what effect the taint has on your children. What if your children become darkspawn, ghouls, or even worse...they all end up like Alistair. Now do we really want that? This is of course assuming he is the son of Fiona.

We can also hope in some treatment in a future... always is possible in a world of fantasy

As far as I know the taint doesn't pass to Warden's children (if they have them, which is very rare, given their nearly infertile). I could be wrong though

Quick question: How do mods work ?

Several mods need an installer, but you can also add them manually.

My docs
bioware
Packages
Core
Override

That is where the files need to be unpacked too. there are a couple mod installers that are quite nifty. Also something called dapzip? Something like that. most modders are good about giving insall instructions. I believe dragonagenexus.com has a FAQ. Bioware may also, but I have yet to look

Edit: Something else to consider before you start installing mods to your pc game,

Awakenings is coming out in just a few weeks. It has already been stated that mods can glitch Awakenings until the modders update. If you can wait until they update, then no problem. If not, I maybe would not install anything quite yet..

Agreed. that is the same impression I am getting as well. I guess we'll all know 100% when we play..
