On the subject of Morrigan I usually just leave her back at camp. I usually try to do the right thing in my playthroughs and she usually disagrees so I just write it off as that being her impatient self. Even at the start when she talks to you at Lothering she wants to deal with Loghain now rather than later.

Well just out of a curiosity then...
If you leave Morrigan at camp who saves you from the demon in Brecilian Forest when all the party except her is knocked down to sleep? I don't know this beacuse I had always her in party during the Elven Quest and she always saves me..

I bring Wynne when I'm at that part.

If you leave the camp no one falls unconscious and you get to fight the demon 4 on 1. If you keep examining it then the character with the highest willpower will be the only one left standing.

aahhh.. I didn't know it !! I always thought you had to examine the camp in order to make the demon to appear..
Damn ! 4 playthroughs and I never tried to leave the camp without examining...

Same here. I killed Alistair once and after he starting talking and the shear shock in his voice after I didn't kill Loghain and was accepting him as a Gray Warden then I told the queen to kill Alistair I actaully felt depressed and really bad and had to reload. Even if that didn't happen I never want to kill Alistair he's the life of the party.

I never killed Loghain.... I need someone to sacrifice against Archdemon... Oh..And he is so happy to do this for you....

Apparantly even if you don't walk out, its the character with the highest willpower that gets up, so it doesn't have to be mage.

I couldn't imagine leaving Morrigan behind though, did it on rare occasions but I always feel something missing! 
Then again I manage to leave Alistair/Leliana behind for entire playthroughs and I'm sure a lot of people can't manage that either!

What I find annoying is that you can't follow her advice lol!  Would be fun as an alternative ending that you rush in there and get killed  by 50 guards... THE END.... Or if you're a rogue that you could sneak in there and assasinate Loghain in his sleep!

You have the ritual if you won't let him die... you have JUST to accept he make sex with another woman...

oh i always do that anyway its just the option to do the us yourself should have been in the conversation with alistair and been able to knock him out to stop him from sacrificing himself would of been better is what i think

it's a bad thing anyway... when two people are in love no one of them should be forced to sacrifice and leave the other person alone... so the ritual is for better or for worse the better choice
Luckily as I romanced Leliana I had not this problem.. I have just to find someone to sacrifice instead of me.. And Loghain is perfect for this...

..and I laught so much when the game gave me the final as "Redeemerr"... Redeemer??? Who cares about Loghain's redemption?! I just had to save my life in order to be able to come back to my Lel... hehehehe !!!

poor loghain at least he's useful :} but you gotta feel sorry for the guy after reading the stolen thone well half of it anyway he's not such a bad guy i kinda feel sorry for him but i dont keep him alive purely because i prefer alistair and cant stand him walking away

So I guess I'll start off by saying I'm currently going to make and play my Human Noble = Favorite Origin by far. (Feels like its the most rewarding in an enemy) Also I'm playing on the 360, never really got into PC gaming, wish I had due to the whole mod support.

Loghain is mentally disturbed. A mentally broken hero is well.. just broken. I however let him live twice.

Once, he took the final blow and died. and the other. we both lived and Alistair and Anora became the super power couple...  eh. It is good to know all outcomes.

Gaming enhancing modules. (things I have learned)



1) If you save character folders with modules such as "more hair styles, improved atmosphere, etc... then install a fresh mod free game.. Your character WILL have no head. Not bald. I mean no head! entire top half of head is missing.



2) If you reinstall these modules then load character. they are all fixed! "big grins"

I thought what Loghain did at Ostagar was unforgivable regardless of what he thought was right. I enjoy killing him in the Landsmeet just because you don't like how things are run doesn't give you the excuse to potentially end the world to damnation that is the blight.



The funny thing is I felt Loghain to be the main Rival with Alistair while I felt more hate for Howe. Even when playing as another race just because I remember what he did in the Human Noble Origin lol. I guess if you think of it Loghain is worse because he got the King killed, but Howe did it personally (His hand commanded it) Loghain just ignored it.

Well... You may have tried all finals (I didn't do it becuase I have my personal opinion), but what is your right final... This means... "Yes this is MY final!"



For my tastes my perfect final is:



- Alistair and Anora couple

- No dark ritual

- Loghain sacrifice

- Me and Leliana going on sunset singing "nanana hey all.. goodbye!"
