loghain is a great character and brilliant as a bad guy if i could of kept him alive without losing alistair i would of just to find out more about him but no way in hell was i letting alistair walk away so unfortunatly it was kill loghain

-Dark Ritiual Performed
-Morrigan's the one that got away, but I have her ring
-I choose to stay as Alistair's aid however because that only seems fair as he didn't choose to be king so I thought my character could help him out being from Noble blood and all.

That's one of the reasons I love DAO so much just because how different your character and story may be.

My favorite would be...

Alistair as king, Anora in the dungeon
Loghain killed by the Warden
Morrigan gets a thick blanket
Warden kills the archdemon

But since Bioware is treating the US as it was nothing I have to choose another one...

Alistair and Anora rule together
Loghain is recruited so he can kill the archdemon
Warden off into the sunset with Leliana

Mine was
- Alistair married Anora
- Loghain is killed
- Had a very romantic and steamy last night performing the Dark Ritiual...
- Morrigan was my love.
- My character decided to go look for Morrigan and is still looking for her.

I can see why that's your favorite ending! Its the best way to annoy Anora... just killing her is quick, but this stings for a long long time!

Did you notice that we are 6 and we have 6 different favourite endings? How may someone think that BW could ever introduce a "canon" ending after reading this?

Who says they have though? We have no clue what will happen in DA2..   I am not going to speculate this. the guessing game is far to annoying..

There are many threads in forum where people are supposing and complaining about this... I was just refering to them...

I have learned to never assume anything until I have proof....   The uprising over all this really is amazing. I think they could do some sort of social study on this....

Hi, read some of this thread, and thought I could add to the convo here ...
I play on the PC and run quite a few mods, also I am in GMT+1 (Italy) ...

I have owned the game since release, but have only 1 complete play-through... With any new game, I usually go though a period of creating loads of toons until I find something I want to continue with. I have done all the origin stories at least once ...
I am a bloke, but usually play female toons. My complete play-through was with a HFN rogue ranger/assassin full archer spec'ed. If there was an alignment spec, she would be chaotic/neutral.
My take on the human noble origin is one of vengeance. This is a promise you make to your dying father, and to me this is the reason you go off with Duncan to join the GW. The blight issue takes over soon after, but come Landsmeet, I thought the decisions made here should reflect someone on a mission of vengenance. Anyway, this is how I roll-played the HFN: to see nyone either directly or indirectly connected to or in power during the events at Highever be killed or in prison. This meant an ending with Loghan killed (I duelled him but left the final blow to Alistair), Anora in prison, Alistair as king. I had no desire in the throne so choose the travelling option...
Wondering if anyone else saw the human noble story this way?

Edit: forgot to mention, if not obvious, I sent Alistair off to give Morrigan her 'love-child' ... I had no interest in romacning Alistair, in fact I didn't like his character very much, so had no problem with the Dark Ritual ...

Well I reckon that DA2 will be a completely new PC rather then our current Warden, and may well be started in such a manner that it won't need to refer to the Warden or Ferelden to much, so having a canon might not be such a problem
