I did not play all the DLC's.. I think I moved onto something new by the time they all got released. I also never used mods in FO3.  I have lots for DA:O! Which i am sure will bite me you know where when Awakenings gets installed.

Liso, there are some great FO3 mods out there, I use a lot of the texture and graphics enhancer mods, makes the wasteland a truely visual experience.
One of the best things about Bethdesa games is the modding community - very talented people.

Oh. I am sure that is true. I've always been a fan of the player modders! I just think I never got around to it for other reasons. Maybe real life was to busy or something.   "shrugs"  I revisit games after a while. I still replay VtM-Bloodline each year. Amazing what the small team of modders has done to that game!

The more I play the more I discover how romances are well done in this game... I found some new things during my last playthrough

Do you remember the crazy elven mage in Brecialian forest? During my last playthorugh I discovered that if you continue to speak with him his last question is "Have you ever falled in love?"... If you are already in romance in someone you have the options to answer "Yes I am even now in love.."

In Leliana's dialogue options at a certain moment there is a dialogue line where you can ask what she will do in the future... If you ask this question when romance is not complete you may just get the promise you and her will travel toghether after the end of your adventures... If you keep this question in your dialogue options and asks this after you slept with her there is a new dialogue line where you can say "I love you... and I will follow you even to the end of the heart"...

These are just little things that make this game so great....

hehe! :) Nothing wrong with being short! :) Both being short and being long have advantages/disadvantages! ;)
Its funny really most girls I've had crushes on in my life have been short... Its not really something I look for but somehow they just always happened to be short hehe! :)
One girl I was really crazy for a few years back was 1m50cm (around 4.9 inches) hehe! :)

i know what you mean max its a well written game dont get me wrong there were a few things that could of been better like everything in life theres always room for improvement but from the first second i played this game it had me hooked and captivated with the storyline i just hope that future releases do the same even if awakening doesnt because it would be a shame if bioware went downhill with any follow ups to this game. With that said the romance thing is a huge part of why i enjoyed the game and the companions were so good that i felt like i was my warden and not just playing as her i couldnt drag myself away from the game which in my opinion is how a game should be so well done bioware for that

I am not short... conversion inches to cm.. 69 in = 175.3 cm I like not having to ask someone to reach "all" the top shelves. Just some of them... :D

yes shedevil.. I trust in Bioware.. and I know romances are a tipical "trademark" of BW games... Even if I am disappointed about some choices concerning Awakening I am sure they will give us further emotions in future games...

i certainly hope they do max as those made the game much more fun to play and defined the game from being just another hack n slash kill kill kill game to me

Some games I play only cos of the mods.... Oblivion, for example... I could never play this without running around 250 mods! Seriously .. And then there are the external uttility mods you need so thay can all run without crashing the game... Almost  a full-time job finding, downloading, installing, de-bugging, and keeping them up-dated ...

I kept the FO3 mods down to a fraction of this, around 20-25 or so ...

"shudders at the thought of Hack n Slash games"  ewww.   I'd rather play Freecell on my computer than play one of those!

Take out the romance and the party interaction from DAO and all you have left is a hack n slash game for 16-year-olds.

Amirite?

You are still in the average height range for women, so don't worry .... ;)

I am 6'3 (193cm) ... To me anyone below 5'7 (175cm) is short...It is all a matter of degree ...

Only country I feel comfortable in is the Netherlands ... Lots of tall people there!

Indeed... Did you read the topic of that guy who did the experiment to play skipping all dialogues lines? He mad it with xbox and took less than 12 hours to complete the game with all subquests.. This means that DA:O is about 12 hours of combat and at least 50 hours of interaction..

This is really a proof of how Bioware works in building RPG games...

You can have a couple of my inches.. Although. I'd have a terrible time with all my jeans..  I have long legs. I guess i'd fit right in with the Netherlands.   LOL  5'9 is tall her for a woman.. not like freakishly tall. Most of my freinds are 5'7 or less though,.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against hack n slash games. I actually kinda like the DAO combat system.

The relationships you can build with your companions --whether it is romance or friendship-- is what elevates this game from "a good action game" to "a magnificent RPG".

Relationships and interactions IS the difference beetwen an "action game" and "RPG game"... what does RPG means?
Role-Playing = play the role = interpret someone... How would you be able to "interpret" someone if you had not the opportunity to show emotions, to interact with other people, etc...  ?

i'm long in the legs its just everywhere else is short my trousers trail the floor and are baggy as hell just the way i like them though lol.   I think i need about 6inches at least, not to be greedy or anything, but it would make me feel like a woman, and not a dwarf  Image IPB
